Osteria Candalla In Camaiore

A fantastic experience, almost unbelievable to have found such a magical place in the heart of Camaiore. I recommend it to everyone.

Osteria Candalla, not far from Camaiore, a magical place to spend a beautiful day or evening based on your needs, a place far from the chaos, where you can breathe good air and enjoy a mind-blowing tranquility. When we arrived at the place they welcomed us with a smile, you can choose whether to have an aperitif before your lunch or dinner (I absolutely recommend you do it) and you will not regret it, they have a small bar right on the river and it is worth it because you can taste some very good cocktails right on the river, waterfall included, I tried the Sambuco gin and it was exquisite, my partner a particular Negroni also very good. After the aperitif we sat at the table and from there the wonder, excellent dishes super good and taken care of every detail. We took some rolls filled with spinach on a bed of super good potato cream. Then a spaghetti carbonara and some tordelli with ragù and to pair our lunch a nice glass of Bolgheri red. For dessert we opted for the tasting of 5 mignon. All excellent. If you want to make a great impression with your partner or a lunch or dinner for some occasion this is the right place for you. The prices are a bit high but it's worth it. BE CAREFUL!! because parking is a feat, you can't park along the road and the traffic police come on purpose to give you fines because immediately after the tavern there is the unmissable Candalla waterfall that in summer a dip in its pool is all there is to it. For parking a little further down there are white lines but you have to get there early otherwise you have to walk a bit to get there. In summer I know that there are shuttles that leave from Camaiore and go up there but I don't know anything else.

A fantastic lunch in an extraordinary structure with kind staff and fast service. Here are just some photos of the appetizer, first and second courses that we took [there are no photos of other first courses and desserts, there were 7 of us (plus a child and a dog) everyone enjoyed and ate jealously]. We highly recommend it and we will definitely return :). price appropriate to the product.

Very particular environment located next to a small stream in a hilly area. It is necessary to book well in advance because it is very popular for both lunch and dinner.
