We ate pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, grilled cod with chickpeas and herbs, a Canapino appetizer and tortelli with meat sauce, all delicious. The service was very kind and helpful. I recommend it to anyone looking for great food at a great price.

I was there for a birthday, delicious food and a wonderful environment, the people at the various tables bring joy, my friend booked live music and after dinner they moved the tables and we started dancing. Highly recommended for young people to have a cheerful dinner and for older people to feel alive every now and then.

We entered this small place with about 10 tables, very nice and casual, the staff were friendly, attentive and fast. We ordered a Canapino appetizer for two, so to speak the appetizer included: truffled mortadella, ham, salami, cheese, croutons with lard and mushrooms, farinata, polenta with sauce and stuffed rabbit. We were already happy, everything was good. But we are not used to being satisfied and so we took a plate of tordelli and a sliced ​​steak with a side of chickpeas with herbs and chips. Il Canapino doesn't skimp on portions, both the tordelli and the sliced ​​meat could be eaten comfortably by two. The food is excellent and for the first time I found someone who understood how I want meat (this alone is worthy of a prize), finishing with two coffees and a Versilia dessert. Price???? €60 for two, considering the portions, the quality and service, we paid the bill happy and satisfied. Definitely coming back.

Pleasant environment inside where you can breathe the air of an Osteria... we had lunch with 2 tasty and tasty hot pici and paccheri first courses + a well cooked and tender cut of beef without annoying ribs. The only flaw was that it was served cold. Maybe it's not exactly typical Tuscan cuisine but it's worth a stop if you're in the area.

Typical - and historic - restaurant of the area, it is one of the best places of its kind in the Lucca plain. The innkeeper Pietro welcomes guests with sagacity and kindness, who can sit in a couple of rooms of a characteristic Capannori country house. The inevitable tordelli from Lucca - served both with the classic ragù and with the highly recommended oil and cheese (pecorino) - are accompanied by various traditional popular dishes: fried farmyard (chicken and rabbit), tripe, rovelline, cod. This evening we ate tordelli with ragù and cod with beans, house wine. To be recommended.
