Well what can I say, a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautiful, with attention to detail and a relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service was impeccable, and I want to pay a special compliment to the owner, who is super nice and looked after us personally with great availability and competence in the choice of dishes and wine, making our dinner even more pleasant. Not to mention the other waiters who are also friendly and attentive to every little detail.
Everything we ate was excellent. The egg yolk with pecorino and truffle fondue was simply special, a perfect balance of flavours. The meat of the tartare was very good, tender and tasty, while the grilled artichokes were a real surprise because I love artichokes and often in restaurants you find leaves that are too hard, but here every part was soft and tasty, really well cooked.
The grouper ravioli was delicious, the fish felt good, with an intense flavor and the thyme added a nice perfect touch. The pork ribs with roasted potatoes were extraordinary, the meat melted in the mouth, very tender, juicy and without a trace, with a balanced spiciness. And the tuna tataki? SPECTACULAR, with that honey and soy marinade which gave it an indescribable flavor and optimal cooking.
To finish on a sweet note, we took the raspberry cheesecake and the lemon creme brulee: both desserts were exquisite. The quality-price ratio is excellent, we left satisfied, with a full stomach and the desire to return as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

I often go to Osteria Canaiolo and every time it is a pleasure, not only for the palate but also for the atmosphere. Great credit goes to Nicola, who manages to make every evening special with passion, competence and authentic attention to the customer.
The cuisine is excellent: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients and flavors that tell of tradition and creativity. The service is always friendly and precise, without ever being intrusive.
Congratulations to Nicola and all the staff: a tavern with a soul, where you always return willingly.

Nonostante la geolocalizzazione anonima, il ristorante si e' ritagliato un fazzoletto di area dal sentore raffinato. Lo stesso dicasi per gli interni arredati con gusto ed impreziositi dalle pareti tempestate da oltre 400 etichette di vino.Nota positiva cucina a vista molto pulita.Nota negativa (..issima) l'assenza totale di tovaglia o tovaglietta . Le posate ..posate sul tavolo lasciamle alla tradizione nordica ,per non dire Vichinga. Personale di sala cortese , presente mai pedante,preparato sia sugli ingredienti dei piatti, sia sui vini da abbinamento. Cena con menu' fisso a tema tartufo con diverse portate, tutte tecnicamente ben eseguite e soprattutto con materie prime di buona qualita' , ben trattate. Conto senza sorprese . Logico e' che per il prezzo fissato, la quantita' di tartufo non sia stata copiosa ma comunque i piatti risultavano essere tutti ben equilibrati.
My wife and I were with friends last night at the "Canaiolo" restaurant in Capannori and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent food.
The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, they were attentive without ever being intrusive. We felt welcomed.
The environment is well looked after and comfortable, a great place for a relaxing evening with friends.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Definitely worth every penny spent.
We were really favorably impressed.

Locale molto elegante e caldo.
Siamo stati accolti molto bene dal titolare, ma dopo aver ordinato (bravissima la titolare che ha preso l'ordinazione del nostro tavolo) siamo stati lasciati un po' a noi stessi. Servizio lento e poco attento, soprattutto da parte dei giovani camerieri, che continuavano a passare senza badare a noi e alle nostre necessità.
Purtroppo però siamo rimasti tutti delusi dalla cena dato che i nostri piatti principali erano tutti un po' salati, uno in particolare che una commensale non è riuscita a mangiare proprio.
Il titolare lo ha portato indietro allo chef, ma non ha offerto nulla in sostituzione alla nostra amica, che così ha cenato solo con un antipasto. Peccato perché il locale è davvero molto bello, ma non basta solo quello per diventare un ottimo ristorante. Peccato, occasione sprecata (con noi)!
Fortunatamente il titolare non ci ha fatto pagare il piatto rimandato indietro (bravo!).
