Osteria Bonadies In Giarre

Giarre, CT. Piazza Duomo, 15. It's located in the premises formerly occupied by "Osteria Bonadies," which we frequented quite often years ago. Intrigued by the new management, or simply by the new sign, a few days ago we ordered some takeout pizzas. They weren't exactly exceptional, but they were quite good.

The owner is lovely, and his wife in the kitchen concocts delicious Sicilian dishes. Don't hesitate; the few negative reviews are not true.

For me this place is close to my house so it is convenient, but the food is also very good. I have eaten here many times and thoroughly enjoyed the tortellini alla panna. The grilled and breaded chicken cutlets are also delicious and I get a side of some of the best fries (patatine) I have ever had. The pizza is good and the owner is very nice and welcoming.
