nice restaurant in the center of siena with a characteristic atmosphere. the staff is really nice and friendly and the price quite low. the food is typical and really good. there are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes available and allergens are marked on the menù. the staff is not really prepared.

Good value for money, it was one of the few restaurants in the area that answered the phone even though it was a Saturday evening and finding a last minute seat was really difficult. The dishes are good but nothing special (except the beef tartare which is hands down the best I have ever eaten). The service can certainly be improved, after finishing eating we were a little "abandoned" in the room we were in and we were not asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. Being the last ones left in that room, none of the staff came by to ask, which is why after 40 minutes we left without getting anything else. The one who I believe was the owner was very kind and helpful, while the other waiter who both served us and prepared the bill at the end was very grumpy (perhaps when he arrived at the end of the evening on a Saturday he had his reasons, but not for this justifies his behavior).

Clean environment... very kind welcome and above all about the cut of the meat... he came to the table to explain the cut of the meat and the weight... he let us choose both the cut and the weight we wanted... which was greatly appreciated... kindness even during the 'waiting for the meat they brought us a bruschetta.. for the wine I recommend and be careful in recommending... bottle opened in front of us and made to taste before pouring it into all the glasses... they recommended this tavern to me and I absolutely recommend it... I would also add that at the end of the evening before going out he even showed us which piece he cut the meat from... thank you very much

Sono stato a cena in questo locale con mio padre e mia madre. Titolare e staff sono stati molto gentili,hanno consigliato un ottimo vino e tutte le portate sono state di qualità,pappa al pomodoro TOP. Ci torneremo presto

17/11/2024: Very intimate location, in a side street of San Gimignano. Welcomed with courtesy and professionalism, we opted for the 7-course menu with matching wine pairing. Very well done Tuscan themed amuse bouche. Excellent bread service: really good flaky bread and tomato focaccia. Let's move on to the appetizers: scallop with aubergine in 3 processes and peach, calamari lampredotto with squid garum and green sauce, and finally red snapper meunière and friggitelli (WOW!!) As for the first courses, pepper and robiola risotto from Roccaverano and agnolotti stuffed with mussel cream and Vernaccia, truly excellent. As a second course we were served a pigeon Wellington with sausage, cuttlefish and squid ink sauce, nothing short of spectacular. As a last course: chocolate nest, ganache, brewer's yeast ice cream and eggnog, really well done. Congratulations to Letizia for the choice of wines and for the truly impeccable service, to the owner Ardit and to the chef Elvis for the choice of raw materials and their use. Well done everyone!
09/11/2024: A truly beautiful evening in a stunning setting, within the walls of Sangimignano. In this restaurant I tried a new culinary experience, ingredients that blended together, wonderful flavors, I really recommend it to everyone. Excellent choice of wines and bubbles, The staff is really friendly, Professional. I'll be back.
