Traditional Tuscan cuisine, beautiful dishes and very reasonable prices. Impeccable service, very friendly and welcoming to tourists! :)

The restaurant is pretty interesting. The first thing we noticed while entering the Tufi gate was the cool waiter smoking outside. We walked all around the old city searching for a restaurant with a real Italian atmosphere and without filthy tourists, which the city was full of at the moment, so we went back here. Had a nice meal with a glass of wine. Our dogs even got water, and we got Limoncello on the house. Can't recommend it more if you want to run away from crowds and expensive tourist trap places. For 25-30 euros for a starter, meal, and glass of wine per person, the prices are more than fair for Siena!

Better late than never! I'm writing months after my visit to say thanks and to compliment the team at Boccon del Prete. We had a fantastic meal and experience here during our visit to Siena. (As an American tourist, I'm not sure why there's not more buzz about Siena, but alas, I guess that's good news for me). This restaurant showcases the best of Italian cuisine by letting the fresh ingredients do the talking. I still dream about the cacio e pepe I ate :) Two gentlemen attended to us and they struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism. I spoke a mix of very poor Italian and English to them and they were sincerely kind; you can't fake that kindness. I'm sorry to see the bad reviews proceeding mine ....which look fake, truth be told. Ahh the bots. Anyway, don't be thrown off by that. Thanks for the fantastic meal and Italian hospitality!

A truly positive experience. We came in, they seated us right away, we ate without long waits, the food was phenomenal. The pici all'aglione, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, with Sienese ragù and Cinta ragù, the beef tagliata, and, what really left me happy was the Sienese tripe 🔝🔝🔝🔝 Truly an excellent osteria. Thanks to the very kind and friendly waiters.

Excellent service. The dishes are traditional Sienese, generously served, and delicious. The atmosphere is peaceful and conveniently located near the Duomo. The wait for the dishes to be prepared was short.

Il titolare è accogliente e simpatico. I pici all'aglione ottimi, saporiti, sugosi, serviti ben caldi. Buona la ribollita. Gustosi i cantucci col vino liquoroso. Prezzo nella norma. Tornerei per assaggiare altro. Ambiente giovane e informale.
