A warm welcome and convivial atmosphere await you as soon as you step into this little gem in the heart of Siena, much like the absolutely delightful staff. The menu features traditional but generous primi (you absolutely must try the pici with porcini mushrooms – they're divine!). For secondi, customize your tagliata – a local specialty of seared and cooked sliced ​​beef – with homemade contorni. But a word of advice: don't miss the parmigiana (it deserves to be a dish in itself)... The desserts are also homemade: tiramisu, lemon mousse, or cantucci with "vino santo" to sample the local dessert.

Nice osteria offering good food. The menu consists almost solely of Tuscan dishes. They have great tagliata di manzo (sliced beef), wild boar stew, beef stew, pici (typical Tuscan pasta) cacio e pepe, tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, and tuna steak. The dishes were a bit salty, but we didn't mind because everything was high quality. The bill was ~200 euro for 7 people, including a bottle of Tuscan red wine, which I think was reasonable.

08/04/2025: Anche questa volta tutto bene. Location molto curata con tanti ottimi vini esposti e camino nella sala a fianco. Servizio attento e con molta simpatia. Ottima la lista dei vini con tantissime etichette di vini toscani anche le più pregiate. Molto buoni i pici all’aglione e le pappardelle al ragù di chianina, e anche il filetto tenerissimo. L’agnello alla griglia cotto un po’ di fretta, dolci molto buoni. Sicuramente da consigliare
08/04/2025: Un bell’hotel situato molto vicino alle terme . Stanza molto carina, pulita ed ampia. Bagno molto grande con doccia spaziosa. Abbiamo mangiato la sera al ristorante. Specializzato principalmente in carne, però mia moglie vegetariana ha mangiato tranquillamente. Piatti buoni e ben fatti. Si sentiva la cucina tradizionale toscana. Ampia scelta nella carta dei vini con ricarico non eccessivo. Bravissimi i due ragazzi ai tavoli. Prezzo dell’hotel in linea , quello del ristorante per me leggermente alto. Ci tornerei sia in hotel che al ristorante a mangiare Consigliato
