Good food and generous portions

In Busto Arsizio for a sporting event, we took a long time to find lunch, but the Bistrot tavern, open until 4pm, welcomed us with the smile and attentiveness of the staff. In a simple and homely environment, the flavor of the dishes fully satisfied us: the fish, tagliatelle with pesto were as tasty as if eaten on the Riviera, the bruscitti with polenta were a surprise because we didn't know them (we are from Rimini) and the brioche filled with mascarpone cream and lots of strawberries was a delight. We will return next time.

Locale in apparenza piccolo e non di grosse pretese. Devo dire però che la cucina è stata una sorpresa: buona e variegata con molte scelte tra primi, secondi e piatti unici. Opzioni anche per menù completi, solo secondi ecc. Il tutto a prezzi ottimi! Da questo punto di vista la consiglio vivamente! Il locale che non ti aspetti direi... Il ragazzo, quello alto di cui non conosco il nome, è gentilissimo e alla mano. Unico neo, devo dirlo, la cameriera, quella che serve ai tavoli: scontrosa, maleducata e svogliata

I rarely give 5 stars in reviews, this one fully deserves it. Here they know how to cook excellent fish. Small location with limitation of seats, also due to the recent Covid-19 limitations, I recommend booking, therefore not suitable for large tables, menu with wide choice, especially fish, the courses I chose ARE FANTASTIC, see photo. Excellent service, all this is compensated by a NIRVANA menu, the ecstasy achieved cancels out any other evaluation. The basic menu of €16 has an excellent quality/price ratio, a cover charge and drinks and excellent house wine must be added. What can I say, if you love good food you can't help but visit it. 😋😋😋 2024 Update: , work menu at €12 + drinks, you can't find anything similar with this quality in the area, chapeau 🤗 I recommend booking 👍
