I really wish we had known about this neighborhood taverna earlier and not on the last day. Homemade food, large portions, excellent prices for its quality. Hospitable people, warm. Family atmosphere. Thank you, we will meet again! PS. We ordered everything on the menu plus bottled wine (6 people). It cost us 30€ with coffee and dessert and all the basics!

Absolutely delicious food and incredibly friendly, attentive staff. I had the fettuccine al ragù, the best I've ever eaten. For dessert, I had two small cream tarts, which were also excellent. This restaurant is highly recommended and a real hidden gem.

For many years, this has been my favorite restaurant in Rome. A highlight of every visit to the city. I recommend it to anyone who visits. The food is fantastic, exactly how I imagine Italian home cooking to be. And the owners create such an atmosphere that I feel like I'm coming home every time.

We arrived just as they opened and were able to enter without a reservation. The lady couldn’t speak English very well, but she tried to communicate with us. The fried fish appetizer was the best, served with a giant lemon wedge that was edible (the lady said they grow it themselves 😍). Overall, a nice place to eat if you’re in the area.

Was dining for one and was met with warmth and hospitality by the family owned restaurant I was early dinner as I don't like to take up spots when traveling alone but felt comfortable and could see this place would be popular later on, the lady explained what was on the menu to me. I had the ragu which was outstanding quality and a lovely red wine.

09/01/2026: A lovely family-run restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent overall, and the service is genuinely friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I ordered the mezzemaniche with artichokes, guanciale, and cheese, great flavours, though for my personal taste it was a bit on the dry side. A slightly creamier texture would have taken it from very good to outstanding. Still, a solid choice in Rome and well worth a visit.
07/01/2026: One of the best places I’ve eaten in Rome after over a week of being here. Great service and a great atmosphere. I will be back!
