A pleasant discovery!!! 10/10 food and top service!!

We had dinner in this restaurant on New Year’s Eve. Food was good but sometimes we had the feeling that it was not prepared as it was supposed to be. I think the place was very crowded so it wasn’t easy to serve all guests. Nice service. We will try again on a different occasion.

I went for lunch today, there were 2 of us, we took the suckling pig with sweet and sour Tropea chunks, very good. Sautéed chicory, not so good, too hard, not very tasty, baked potatoes, good.

La curiosità ci ha portato a visitare il borgo di Bassano in Teverina con la magnifica e misteriosa Torre dell’Orologio ma prenotando altresì la vicina Osteria Belvedere, ben recensita proprio qui su TripAdvisor. Beh che dire, una sorpresa enogastronomica? direi qualcosa di più. Ci ritroviamo in un ambiente di classe, rustico, accogliente in una porzione di grotta ricavata nel tufo locale. Si parte con le delizie della panetteria di casa e l'olio EVO locale per poi degustare piatti davvero di altissima qualità, gourmet e direi anche di sostanza, bisogna essere di buon appetito per finire tutto. Abbiamo provato le pappardelle al sugo di maialino nero, riso gorgonzola e pere, gnocchi con mazzancolle e secondi con fagottello e prosciutto di cervo, calamaro interrato, alicette ripiene e melanzane così come una tartare di fassona al tartufo. Un buon vino rosso Palagio del viterbese e dei dessert speciali come i frutti i di gelato e la millefoglie al pistacchio. Tanta bontà e gentilezza della titolare accompagnano i clienti in questa bella esperienza gastronomica. Bravi, sicuramente da ripetere. Il prezzo? Assolutamente adeguato alla qualità dei piatti e prodotti freschissimi, ambiente di gusto e cortesia.

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 15 years. Not often because I'm from Rome. In all these years I have never been disappointed....ever. Every time a surprise and always positive. Quality and quantity that travel hand in hand. Recommend it? Surely.

An unusual place with a warm welcome and very professional service. Refined and tasty cuisine. As a fish and shellfish lover, I simply enjoyed myself!! Don't hesitate to try this place, you won't regret it.

Tired and poorly maintained place, good food with very generous portions, music too loudly, inappropriate for the type of place ( vamos a la playa).

I didn't remember having such a good time, starting from the environment, the service and above all the meals and the evening, special for us, was fantastic. The venue is truly over the top, well refined, very suitable for special evenings. Thanks to Simone, her mother and Chiara.
