We spontaneously ended up at the Osteria and received a very warm welcome. The Bazan duo is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. The menu changes every four months and offers fresh, regional dishes that are expertly prepared. The restaurant is simply but stylishly furnished. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I came to dinner at Bazan in Syracuse with friends, and I have fond memories of it. The setting is elegant but not stuffy, well-kept, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. We started with an appetizer of swordfish arancinetti accompanied by Bazan caponata: a perfect start. The arancinetti were crispy, fragrant, and full of flavor, the caponata was sweet and savory at the same time, with that typical Sicilian touch that captivates. For our first course, spaghetti alla Siracusa: intense flavors, a perfect balance of sea and land, a dish that speaks of the city in every bite. The cod fillet in a potato crust with Sicilian cream concluded the dinner impeccably. Soft on the inside, golden on the outside, with a cream that added freshness and character. The service was attentive and kind, the timing just right, and the recommended wine paired perfectly with the dishes. Bazan is one of those places that combines taste, care, and authenticity. A cuisine that surprises without ever overdoing it. An experience I recommend to those who love good food and authentic Sicily.

The best bread for the starter! Excellent quality, served hot with the main course! Pleasant music. Reservations recommended.

Friendly service: we booked a table at 30 minutes notice and had exactly the same we wanted. Some seating in inside and some on the terrace. The menu is interesting and quality of food pretty good.

Mauricio was friendly and respectful and he gave us lots of tips to go and visit restaurants and sites The location is excellent and the breakfast is amazing!!!

A restaurant that is so authentic and the chef makes every dish taste amazing. We came back for supper the following night; carbonara pasta, meat ravioli and the eggplant entree was delicious!

We had dinner at this osteria. I found the stuffed anchovies very good. I expected a more pronounced flavor on the arancini. The caponata was too sweet for my taste. Overall, good. I recommend it.
