Found by chance thanks to the reviews. Very welcoming place, excellent food, amazing Florentine steak and amazing tordelli. Definitely coming back! Prices normal.

Very welcoming and unique historical place from an architectural point of view. Exposed red bricks and vaults, but excellent heating in winter. Traditional and delicious food, impeccable service!

We ate quite well at this restaurant. The famous tordelli of Lucca were very good and so was the accompanying ragù, minus the pheasant, a few pieces not particularly worth remembering. Very attentive and competent atmosphere and above all service. Adequate price

En vacances dans la région nous avons poussé la porte de ce vieil établissement de la ville fortifiée Super structure en briques de Toulouse voûtée et très bien agencé Antiparti de légumes en entrée plat de tagliatelles fine au pesto basilic frais et un ragoût de bœuf servi avec une polenta de feu Un super moment simple une note relativement raisonnable 70 euros à 2 avec apéritif et café Situe juste derrière la place de l amphithéâtre avec un service superbe d une jeune fille attentionnée et professionnelle Bravo ce sont ça les choses simples et bonnes Signe Dartagnan

Cercavo un posto con cucina tipica toscana e sono capitata nel luogo giusto, ho mangiato per la prima volta i Tordelli al ragù toscano deliziosi, anche un piccolo antipasto toscano era completo di cose buone. Il locale è tradizionale e sono veloci nel servire nonostante fosse pienissimo

12/01/2025: It wasn't the first time, we went for dinner last night... we ate delicious onion soup, tortelli with super ragù and a Florentine steak... delicious was the butter, chocolate cake and vin santo with cantucci... fast service, kind waiters, fair price 85 in 2...It's worth it..we'll be back soon.
11/01/2025: Excellent dining experience in a restaurant where I felt taken back in time to a true Tuscan osteria. No frills, all substance. Tortelli lover, I was not moved. Super.

17/09/2024: Thursday Japanese evening. Excellent uramaki, good chicken ravioli but the flavor of the vegetables dominated that of the meat, chicken with an amazing sauce, very good mix of sashimi including oyster, meat and vegetarian sandwiches nice to look at but with little filling, very good desserts and with generous portions, the Predessert was very welcome. Excellent service, the only flaw was being able to order the miso soup almost at the end of the meal because the off-menu items were not communicated to us when ordering. Extensive wine list with excellent labels. Account in line with how much eaten. Beautiful experience, to be repeated.
05/09/2024: Not a dinner, but a culinary experience: trust the chef with the tasting menus!
