I recommend the typical dishes, the first courses are delicious and plentiful. Appetizers absolutely worth trying. We were all satisfied and full.
Good Fiorentina but a little hard to chew.
Very very good desserts (especially the typical dessert)

Osteria molto carino in una struttura storica, serve piatti tipici lucchesi molto saporiti e tutto a base di carne. In 3 persone abbiamo preso: un antipasto toscano (composto da bruschettine, e salumi), un linchetto aromatizzato ai porcini (ma i porcini non si sentivano affatto), un patè di fegato (molto buono), tordelli lucchesi al ragù (spettacolari anche se pesantini) ed un raviolo. con una bottiglia di vino, il conto è stato molto onesto, circa 100€.
Da andarci per cercate un'osteria tipica senza troppe pretese.

Very nice tavern in a historic structure, serving very tasty typical Lucca dishes and all based on meat. Three people had: a Tuscan appetizer (consisting of bruschetta and cured meats), a linchetto flavored with porcini mushrooms (but you couldn't taste the porcini mushrooms at all), a liver pâté (very good), Lucchese tordelli with ragù (spectacular even if heavy) and a ravioli. with a bottle of wine, the bill was very honest, around €100.
Go there if you are looking for a typical tavern without too many pretensions.

The place was recommended to me and I must say that I was fully satisfied, everything was excellent from the starter to the first course, I had the pici alle senese which was a spectacle and then the amaro baralla was excellent, what can I say, if I'm ever in the Lucca area again I will definitely go back

A pleasant discovery in the heart of the city. The environment is informal and welcoming, perfect for a stop while visiting the city. The staff is courteous and attentive, making you feel immediately at ease. The quality of the raw materials is excellent: the lard with the bruschetta is delicious; try the Tuscan starter as well as the pappardelle with roe deer ragù: rich in flavour. The menu varies daily, guaranteeing freshness and seasonality and the homemade desserts are an excellent conclusion; there is even castagnaccio accompanied by ricotta. The house wine is also worth trying. I recommend it!

There are no real words to describe the experience in this place, more or less you have to translate this: 😲😍🤤🤔🍰😍
And those are for the food.... The environment is fantastic, the staff friendly and professional. In my opinion an example, both as a venue and as a service. Congratulations and see you soon!
