Had a lovely birthday meal here - a beautiful upscale setting, a service concept attentive to international guests, a comprehensive Sicily-focused wine list with something for every budget, including a good by-the-glass selection, the Caponata was gorgeous, the Pasta con le Sarde had a beautiful depth though a bit burned when being finished in the oven. A good choice for a special meal.

Courtesy, politeness, and attentiveness, but never intrusive. Their dishes are delicious. The fried pasta and appetizers were very popular. The wine list is well-stocked. The restaurant as a "place" is very beautiful; I'd say the photos don't convey the warmth and familiarity it immediately conveys to guests. Recommended.

We had the tortellini’s, ravioli and spaghettini. It was all very good. At the end the tiramisu was the perfect end of the meal. We enjoyed it very much. Also a very big thank you to the multi lingual service.

Nice place but not very well kept. I expected better quality!! I had a tuna tartare appetizer. Not good!! As for quality... except for the hair!!! Then a first course of spaghetti with sardines. I'd say excellent... I even found a hair in the glass. But!! Was I just unlucky??

Valentine's Day at the recently opened Osteria Ballaró in Palermo's Piazza Borsa. The atmosphere is elegant and refined. The evening's menu was a definite hit. Excellent food. The quality of the ingredients combined with the pursuit of innovation, without distorting the essence of the dishes, made each course nothing short of excellent. The refined pairings do not distort the authentic flavor, but rather enhance it. This is complemented, as always, by the meticulous presentation, which is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. The welcome and attentive service were meticulous, leaving nothing to chance. The atmosphere was exquisite. A full pass, we'll be back to try the à la carte menu.

An excellent experience: the venue is charming, the service is prompt, the menu is interesting, but the price is a bit steep, especially for the wines. In my humble opinion, the wine list prices could use a rethink. Otherwise, I recommend going!
