Osteria Antico Oleificio is an excellent restaurant, very well-maintained, and overall, highly recommended!
We went here for a family lunch; the atmosphere is elegant yet simple, and it's also recommended for business.
The food deserves special mention, especially the excellent quality of the ingredients.
The four of us spent just over €30 each, a fair amount considering we all had "special" pizzas, plus three beers, two desserts, four coffees, and grappa.

It began as a traditional tavern overlooking the Naviglio, probably used as a freight transport route, now separated from it by a very busy state road.
Now it's an excellent restaurant, the rooms are reminiscent of the old tavern, but the prices perhaps less so. Local cuisine (Italian...) superbly reinterpreted! I tried the potato and gorgonzola meatballs, creamed cod, and culurgiones (forgive me, Sardinian friends, if that's not correct...) stuffed with Milanese-style ossobuco (a nice fusion, though not for everyone...). Everything was excellent, as was the service. Definitely worth returning.

Our first visit to this restaurant was a platter of cheese and mushroom pappardelle. Dessert was served to finish. Everything was good. The service was fast and accurate. I only recommend considering whether you order wine by the glass is worth it. We ordered two glasses, which I thought were €6 each, but were actually €10.50 each. Mr. Luca was helpful in explaining the difference in quantities and invited us back, offering us a free half-bottle to make up for the misunderstanding. So, no complaints. We'll be back for the pizzas and meat dishes...really tempting.
