Osteria Antico Borgo In Civitella in val di chiana

Stunning B&B, unique location, in the center of the village that can't get any quieter than this. The owner's welcome overwhelmed us... a true person who loves her work and seeing people happy and happy with the service she offers. Very complete breakfast full of delicacies, fresh juice, dinner was also complete with all the amazing meat and wine. The scent of the oil still inebriates my senses. The "sun" room has a view over the entire valley and in the morning the sun that penetrates the room fills your heart.

Enchanting location in the small square of a small, quiet and well-kept village. Cozy, clean room with a panoramic terrace. Excellent traditional cuisine expertly followed by the owner, very kind and always available. Highly recommended

The village itself is very cute and characteristic, and the structure does not disappoint expectations. I stayed here for a weekend in a room on the top floor, with an internal staircase that led to a small terrace above the roofs from where you could admire all the beautiful surrounding landscape. Small but functional bathroom, with everything you need, even if the soap supplied was not sealed disposable but the classic supermarket dispenser. If I had to find a negative point, perhaps, it was the bed: I don't know if it was due to the base or the mattress, but we didn't sleep very comfortably. As for the restaurant, there is nothing to complain about, the cuisine was excellent, as was the service. Given the composition of the structure which develops vertically, I would recommend it to couples and families even with small children but better if they are already able to walk because with strollers it is a little more tiring to access the rooms, but still not impossible. There are some parking spaces on the square where I parked without problems.
