We ordered onion fritters and marinated anchovies as starters. The fritters, very floury and with few onions, had no flavor. The anchovies must have come from a commercial can (they were curiously all the same size and quite soft). Then, we each had a pasta dish: one with octopus and clams and one with seafood. There were no clams in my dish, which I found bland. My husband's was even blander, and his seafood seemed to be frozen.
The carafe of local wine was supposed to be 0.5 liters. It was likely less than 0.4 liters.
Thankfully, the server was very friendly and the setting charming.

One of the best experience we've had in Tropea. Lovely staff, very knowledgeable about wine and food options, and fantastic and cosy atmosphere. The experience is perfectly curated, with a short menu. The Nduja starters are a great introduction to Calabrese cuisine, and the Tuna and Gnocchis pistachio were fabulous.
It made us want to come back to try the whole menu !

¡Qué hermoso restaurante! Muy romántico , cena a la luz de las velas en un precioso palazzo .
¡Teníamos calamares y gambas, ensalada tropea y raviolis de mero! El vino local de Calabria era muy bueno y a un precio razonable. Nuestro camarero era muy amable y atento. Tuvimos una velada tan encantadora que volvimos de nuevo y tuvimos exactamente la misma comida! El ravioli mero es una necesidad!

Qué encantador hallazgo en las calles secundarias de Tropea, el personal todo atento y servicial. Explicó la comida tradicional local y formuló recomendaciones. La comida era deliciosa y nada era demasiado problema. El vino local es delicioso y a muy buen precio.

Amazing! All freshly cooked, with fresh products. You can feel the difference compared to other places where we have eaten. Very honest prices, we spent €28 each.
Above all, the food is really delicious. Excellent and recommended onion fritters, onion soup, tuna, a sort of omelette with anchovies. The staff was helpful and courteous. The environment is nice and relaxed. I think I'll go back again on my last evening in Tropea.

We stopped by chance, inspired by the truly evocative location: an entrance hall of an ancient building in the historic center, a stone's throw from the Duomo. Cozy and elegant atmosphere. The dishes were a surprise: well presented, tasty and with quality ingredients. The first courses were creamed to perfection, the tuna with onions very tender, cooked just right
