This restaurant is highly recommended and easy to find near the cathedral. The staff is very dedicated, and the cuisine is superb, featuring local specialists. The cipolle frites are divine, as is the tuna steak with a pistachio crust. The house red wine perfectly complements the culinary experience. We've been there twice and would gladly return. 😀

I went with my girlfriend following the Google reviews where the expectations were confirmed, they made us spend a splendid evening, very characteristic location, very refined food (superlative fish carbonara), the tuna in a crust very tasty, very good local wine which is rare, very good service very friendly, I recommend it and return.

I returned to Tropea and we had dinner again at the Osteria Antico Androne, it is a very suggestive place and we ate fish carbonara, tuna crust and pistachio, for dessert cake with cream and pine nuts and lemon sorbet, all excellent and excellent service, recommended place.

A feel-good place. Perhaps still an insider tip in Tropea. The food was outstanding. Here, you can also enjoy your meal with your eyes. Extremely friendly and very competent service. A refined take on traditional Calabrian cuisine. Everything is served with great style and creativity. And all in the historic ambiance of an old palazzo. The highlight of our stay in Tropea. Absolutely worth it.

11/02/2026: A wonderful discovery just a stone's throw from Serra San Bruno is the Taverna dei Borboni. The restaurant is tastefully and elegantly furnished, and the service is excellent. Let's move on to the food: what can I say? I had homemade fagottini with butter and sage. Believe me, they were a riot of flavors. The first course was top-notch, well-cooked, with just the right amount of cooking and simple yet well-blended ingredients. For the second course, I had a grilled meat platter, where the veal, sausage, and pork were tender and cooked to perfection. Good value for money.
