When I feel like eating out I always think of an imaginary tavern where the host is friendly and the food is genuine and superlative. Sometimes, as in the case of the "Amici mie" tavern in Serravalle Pistoiese, culinary dreams come true. When you enter you are greeted by friends. The food is as wonderful as what your grandma would make for you. The ribollita is divine. The amazing "peposo". The sensational fried food; delicious desserts. Here is finally a tavern where the love for cooking and customer service is stronger than anything else. Strongly recommended if you pass through Pistoia.

Pleasant evening discovery! Great food and service. Small environment with a few well-distributed tables. The dishes are prepared on the spot and the room service is always present with courtesy and a smile, explaining the organization of the tavern and the dishes of the day (in our case the mushrooms from the Abetone area). Good value for money. We will happily return! Highly recommended!

Delicious authentic food with great service. Just make sure to have a dictionary at hand, at least for menu translation. Oh, and don't forget to reserve a table, otherwise you might be left stranded, especially on Saturday.
