My wife and I arrived at Stefano's Kitchen/Ristorante alla Bussola at 2.45pm and they were just closing up after their lunch service but the incredible staff and waiters took pity on us and allowed us in. We had an amazing lunch looking out across the bay to Trieste - it was magic. Wonderful food, great views and super helpful and considerate staff - this place is a winner.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside you'll find real fresh fish on display and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea (port). Excellent staff, clear and precise explanations, good quality cuisine. Recommended. Kudos to the staff.

A restaurant where the staff knows how to manage every aspect of the evening, from the presentation to the food, to the timing, to the pampering. The chef is a master. Rarely have such good pairings been created, thanks to prime seafood, creativity, and skill. Each dish is a visual and flavorful spectacle. The atmosphere is also perfect, thanks in part to a terrace overlooking the sea. Highly recommended for any occasion.

If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine with an emphasis on seafood, Ristorante - La Bussola di Stefano's Kitchen is a place you definitely need to visit! We started with wonderful appetizers - everything was fresh, elegantly presented and incredibly tasty. The octopus salad was especially memorable - tender, aromatic, with a wonderful combination of ingredients. For main courses we ordered a mix of grilled seafood and fish soup. The seafood was perfectly cooked - juicy, with a light aroma of smoke, and the fish soup - a real symphony of flavors! I would like to separately note the service - attentive, warm, with a sense of true Italian hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy, and every moment spent here is a real pleasure.
