I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Trattoria Alle Grazie in Udine and I must say that it was an exceptional experience in every respect. The place is welcoming, with a warm and familiar atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home. The menu offers traditional Friulian dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried the frico with polenta, simply delicious, and a baked shin with polenta which was an explosion of flavours. The staff is very kind, attentive and helpful in recommending the house specialties. The service is quick and friendly, without ever being intrusive. Absolutely excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the dishes and the level of service. I highly recommend Alle Grazie to anyone who wants to enjoy true Friulian cuisine in a welcoming and authentic environment. I will definitely be back!

Siamo stati a pranzo qui oggi, il locale è semplice e "particolare" con appesi alle pareti innumerevoli quadri di locandine della secondanguerra mondiale e del dopoguerra. Ci ha accolto una signora molto cordiale, ci ha fatti accomodare e ci ha elencato i piatti del giorno. Abbiamo optato per zuppa di lenticchie, risotto al radicchio e lasagne per i bambini più spinaci e insalata mista cruda, il tutto bagnato da 1/4 vino rosso, una bottiglietta di acqua naturale e una da 1lt di frizzante, 2 caffè, piatti abbondanti e gustosi, unica cosa che non mi ha soddisfatto è stata la verdura cruda che era un po' passata, ma nulla che ne comprometta l'edibilitá. Pagato un prezzo onesto (circa 50 x totali, regalandoci 2 chupa chups per i bimbi). Sicuramente ci torneremo. Ottima l'accoglienza!

A popular tavern that you could easily find in some small town in Friuli, but instead it is located right in the center of Udine. Simple and traditional dishes, fair prices, house wine by Alturis which is not bad. Just one warning; as soon as you enter, decide which side to sit on; one side is all fascist memorabilia, the other with Che Guevara and Lenin. The choice is yours…
