Osteria alla Speranza In Resia

I was there a day ago....beautiful place....clean...welcoming....more than kind staff....excellent food....will definitely return.

Rustic atmosphere with beautiful wooden details. The bar counter is at the entrance, while the dining room is at the back. In warmer weather, you can dine outside. All the dishes were delicious, and the service was extremely friendly, attentive, and fast. We particularly enjoyed the delicious first courses. Highly recommended.

We were in the Resia Valley again, and a visit to Osteria Alla Speranza is a must. The house Merlot is wonderful, and an eighth of a liter costs €1.50. But what truly impressed us were the junior chef, Francesco, his mother, Dorina (is that the correct name?), and Professor America *Elio*. It was simply wonderful. Since we had already eaten, we only had one dessert – Limoncello and pistachio tiramisu – and a cake. Everything was wonderful. THANK YOU! Next time, we'll try the Cjalciune (a kind of Friulian version of dumplings or filled ravioli – a specialty of the Osteria) and also sample the Carinthian cheese noodles. Thank you for the delightful afternoon.

Enjoy traditional dishes in the evocative setting of a restaurant with an ancient charm, exuding history and culture; rustic yet refined and meticulously maintained, framed by mountains and immersed in the tranquility of the valley. A must-see for those who love nature and good food. Reservations recommended.

Nice place and excellent food. Interesting selection of traditional dishes. The fridge is very good, even the garlic flower version.
