Osteria Alla Grande In Milano

A truly typical Milanese restaurant, both in terms of its atmosphere and menu. Generous and tasty dishes, fast and friendly service, and a very pleasant, retro atmosphere. I'd always love to have lunch in a place like this!

There's not much to say about the food: it's good and well-cooked. What really surprised me was the atmosphere, which was well-kept and more pleasant than I expected. Overall, a positive experience.

We stopped at this osteria for lunch on a weekday, intrigued by its slightly retro exterior... and we weren't wrong! The atmosphere is truly unique, every corner a blast from the past: old objects displayed everywhere, furnishings, photos, utensils from times gone by... it almost feels like a small museum of remembrance. We ate in the small but very welcoming entrance hall. The tables are quite close together, space is limited, and every seat is used to its fullest. There will probably be about fifteen seats, so it's best to book. It's not ideal for those with small children: there are no high chairs, and with a stroller, it's difficult to get in and move around. The food is plentiful and good, simple dishes but prepared properly, in perfect osteria style. The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The service was quick and very courteous, and the girls serving the tables are truly skilled, smiling, and organized. Overall, it was a lovely discovery: a place with an authentic atmosphere and traditional dishes. Not for everyone (especially families with small children), but perfect for a quiet, timeless lunch.

In the center of Baggio we found this beautiful tavern. We went for lunch, fixed menu and excellent value for money. The pasta was very good, also the main courses and excellent desserts. The house white wine was good. We will return for dinner to try the à la carte menu.

Questo locale è veramente bello, pieno di cimeli...e anche foto di Jacchetti e del mio amico Treves.... Servizio veloce, risotto ai funghi veramente buono, poi buona la polenta con cinghiale, buonissima la torta di mele. Grandioso il chitarrista che intona canzoni in milanese e in italiano. Consigliato!

Immersa nella vecchia Baggio, spuntano le due vetrine dell'osteria. Entri e vieni catapultato indietro nel tempo. Due piccole sale con pochi posti. Infatti devi prenotare per tempo questa esperienza. Locale datato essenziale, come deve essere una vecchia osteria. Tutto il personale molto gentile. Piatti generosi e ben cucinati della tradizione milanese. Ma la chicca dell'osteria è Donato con le sue canzoni milanesi e la sua chitarrae che riporta noi sessantenni indietro nel tempo, con partecipazione unanime di tutta la sala coinvolgendo tutte le persone presenti di tutte le età. ALLA GRANDE.
