Some of the best food we’ve had here, with amazing view of the lake!
We went up on the terrace which has great views, and everything regarding the food was perfect. The only not so good part was the service: the waiters were not very friendly, and forgot our water too.
For the starter, we shared some ragu pasta. It was “wow”, just “wow”. The sauce was sooo good, and the pasta had the perfect texture.
We did not realize for the main dish that we got the steak that it was to be cooked by us. It was completely seared but rare on the inside. But this was the best part! It came in a hot clay plate, with some super hot butter, so you cook your sliced beef right the way you wanted it!! And the meat was high quality and tender!.

We chose this spot for lunch primarily for the stunning views we expected, but were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food as well. We started with the "lake starters" for two, which offered a delightful selection of cold lake fish. We also shared a seafood salad, which was the perfect light meal for a warm summer day.

Kind and welcoming staff, dishes we ate, fish-based, plentiful and tasty, very charming location. The terrace overlooking the lake on the Comacina island is very fascinating.

Beautifully located traditional restaurant. Please note: no dogs allowed. It was good but had higher expectations. The risotto is a bit dull, the tagliata arrives sizzling in a stone-thick plate and this is piping hot so that it bakes further quickly. If it were just warm then it would be ideal. Still paid 150 for the three of us and compared to other things just a bit too much. But we are positive and have no regrets 😉

In occasione di una gita a villa del Balbianello, organizzata dalla delegazione FAI di Biella siamo stati a pranzo. Ci siamo trovati bene anche essendo un gruppo numeroso. Ci hanno servito un menù fisso concordato. Antipasti, bis di primi e un sorbetto al limone con basilico e caffè. Bella la vista sul lago. Si trova in un angolo tranquillo nel borgo di Ossuccio.

Siamo stati in questo locale a pranzo di domenica
Abbiamo optato per gli antipasti di lago e il risotto al pesce, tutto davvero gradevole.
Locale curato e con atmosfera festosa. Una vista davvero mozzafiato.
Servizio cordiale ed efficiente.
