We ate there yesterday. The view is breathtaking. The service is great, and we had a very good meal. The desserts were a small drawback, but we'll be back with pleasure.

Homemade cuisine with adequate portions and local products. Location in panoramic panoramic position.

Fantasic view, even in the evening! The staff did not really speak English nor were the dishes displayed in English so we had a little trouble with choosing what to eat, but the food was ok.

Great food...English not part of the repertoire....be prepared with some form of translation....from USA..

Very very satisfied! From appetizer to dessert, everything was very good, congratulations to everyone! Historic, characteristic place (it feels like admiring the wonderful panorama, sitting on a boat hahaha, unique view of the Comacina island!!!!!), very very welcoming!!!!!! We were guests about ten days ago, but we will certainly repeat the experience, because we had a very, very good time!!!! Very kind and attentive staff! Well done everyone!!!!! Ours was not a positive experience, unfortunately I find myself disagreeing with the other reviews. The place is located on the hills above Ossuccio, it can be reached by car, where there is a car park, or on foot along the famous greenway. It is a delightful little corner, full of flowers and plants, there are tables on the lawn and on the terrace overlooking the lake and Comacina island. The restaurant is a two-storey house, the lower part has a large room with tables and a bar counter. And the bathroom is also there. You go up some external stairs and find yourself on a beautiful terrace, totally open in summer, or covered with plastic sheets in other seasons. In the dining room we are welcomed by the owner. He seats us at a table, but upon booking by phone, we asked to sit outside on the lake side, so I ask to move. There was an identical table where we wanted to sit, obviously empty. Upon my request, the owner replied bluntly that it was booked. I said that we had booked too, but there was nothing that could be done. We had a guest with us, I was sorry she couldn't enjoy the view, which we didn't have from our table, despite him saying that the lake can be seen from all the tables. I choose a starter from the menu, but I am told that any starter is for a minimum of two people. Calculating that an appetizer cost 17 euros, for two appetizers we would have had to spend 34! And honestly it's the first time it's happened to me that the starter can't be divided! So we give up. We order two plates of pici, one with ragù and one with cheese and pepper with crispy bacon, and a plate of bread and potato dumplings with fondue. The pasta was overcooked, the bacon raw, the gnocchi tasteless. We have leftover pasta and gnocchi. The desserts however were good. We spent 81 euros, without wine and with only one coffee. I was very disappointed, both by the food, but above all by the attitude, certainly not elegant, of the owner. I'm sorry because it takes so little to satisfy customers, and, to conclude, the famous table that was booked was never occupied!

Delicious meat dishes, interesting-tasting honey as an addition to cheese. Everything presented in an attractive form.

A beautiful spot with an incredible terrace overlooking Lake Como. The meat and fish dishes were fantastic, and the wine complemented everything perfectly. One thing to note is that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, so plan accordingly.
