This is an extremely welcoming osteria. The professional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff perfectly explain the dishes and wines. The menu is extremely well-balanced. The platters are truly extraordinary. I tried a Fassonna rib-eye steak, cooked perfectly. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We stumbled upon it by chance, thanks to the recommendation of a very kind taxi driver. We had a divine meal in a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Very good food. You can savor the flavors of the mountains in the center of Turin. The setting is also reminiscent of the high altitudes of yesteryear. I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm, the staff very kind and knowledgeable. I liked the veal with tuna sauce, but I liked the purple cabbage flav better, as it has an even more powerful flavor thanks to the bran fondue. The first courses were very good, average; the angolotti had a much lighter and more linear flavor than the wild boar pappardelle, which was much heavier and more substantial. The guanciotto sauce and the guanciotto itself were good and very soft. The only flaw was that the potatoes were bland, but I think that was done on purpose so we could eat them with the sauce released by the guanciotto. Finally, the dessert was very good. The price wasn't even excessive, and the waiter was very kind and even good at recommending the wine pairing.

13/02/2026: I often went to Trattoria Crotto for lunch when I worked in the area, and I can say it was a pleasant discovery. It's a family-run trattoria with a simple and authentic atmosphere, ideal for a no-frills lunch break with well-made dishes. The fresh homemade pasta is one of its highlights: it's light, well-seasoned, and you can taste the care taken in its preparation, something you don't always find in office restaurants. The burgers are also very good, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients—a different choice from the classic trattoria fare. I've dined here a couple of times, especially when they offered the special menu with fried porcini mushrooms, which were truly tasty and perfect as an appetizer to start the evening. The service has always been friendly and attentive: Sara, in particular, has always been kind and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, it's a simple place but with good quality dishes, perfect for business lunches or informal dinners with friends or colleagues.
