5 star tavern! I went to this very cozy restaurant last night for dinner with a dear friend. Simple but well-kept location. Very helpful and trained staff. Dishes that are beautiful to look at but above all good to eat!! Very fresh fish. We tasted the raw fish dish, the scallops au gratin with porcini mushrooms, the creamed cod with sardines in saor, delicate tortelloni with scallops and lemon and to conclude two very particular desserts... pears with mint and chocolate with salted caramel ice cream and carpaccio of pineapple with ice cream and berries... spacey!! I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

We went for lunch for the first time last Sunday, the environment was very nice as was the service, attentive to our needs. Abundant, well-prepared dishes, all with selected ingredients. The room was a little noisy, perhaps due to the customers at the time. We will definitely be back, thank you

L'ambiente è curato ed accogliente, pur mantenendo un certo gusto retrò che rimanda ad atmosfere passate. Il servizio è presente, cordiale e rapido. Il personale gentile ed apprezzabile. La qualità della proposta culinaria è ottima, tutti ingredienti di prima qualità e ben preparati. Considerando il prezzo da pranzo di lavoro, posso soltanto fare i miei più sentiti complimenti.

The staff are super friendly and helpful, we were here for dinner last night and we didn't think we'd have such a good time. Simple and well-kept location, really excellent food (perhaps for those of us who are gluttons, a single course wouldn't be enough). We are your new customers.

We returned again to the Al Santo tavern and only now have I decided to review it because I/we had confirmation of the goodness of the place both with reference to the quality of the dishes, the right quantity and the service and last but not least the correct quality ratio price. Starters: the dish with the creamed scorpion fish and red snapper, really tasty and light, a foam, sublime and the related carpaccio; A truly delicious dish of marinated cuttlefish with sweet and sour vegetables. Followed by: gnocchi (very tender without losing consistency and without any hint of flour) with simple but very good peas and prawns; very good medallions stuffed with prawns and lemon zest; chicken eggs with black Asiago truffle and vezzena flakes, a classic. Desserts: mousse with strawberries, pear with mint and ice cream, santamisú (tiramisu with no variations except the name) all very good. So top food! But the punctuality and precision in the service, without mistakes, must also be underlined. Well done.

Ci ero già stato, con precedenti gestioni, ed era solo una trattoria di passaggio, menu' fisso, poca fantasia: un posto per pranzi veloci, per gente che lavora ed ha poco tempo. Ora il posto, con la nuova gestione giovane, si è letteralmente trasformato. Ha un ottima lista di piatti, sia a base di pesce, che di carne. Antipasti semplici, ma abbondanti e ben preparati, un primo ottimo, "tagliolini bottarga e vongole", sono stati la mia scelta di ieri sera. Il servizio è cortese, rapido e attento, il vino gradevole, il prezzo onesto: eravamo in 13 e tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti. Bravi!! Roberto55
