Impeccable and scrupulous service, dishes with fresh ingredients and well presented, what more can you say? Try the bigoli they produce (from the flour to the pan) and you will agree with me. When I come back I always order them.

Restaurant with good choice of fish and meat. I took a fillet of meat with black truffle which unfortunately had a decidedly bad smell and taste so I only tasted a few pieces of it. I reported the problem to the waiter/owner who checked and canceled the dish from the bill. This is very professional. My husband's bigoli and desserts were good. Informal environment with many seats, fast service and friendly, helpful staff.

I stopped with some colleagues for a lunch break and it was a very positive surprise. Simple traditional dishes well presented with a slightly modern twist and very tasty. Cozy place, friendly and attentive staff.

Ambiente caldo e accogliente che rievoca gli ambienti di un tempo, ricco di particolari. Un menù curato e non scontato, piatti gustosi e con una buona materia prima.

Beautiful restaurant and great service. End of year dinner with colleagues. Unfortunately, the option provided as a menu for vegetarians is flawed as it does not provide alternatives with structured dishes but simply removes the animal part. However, the price remains unchanged compared to dishes with meat (price created on menus with meat dishes)

Locale molto ben curato ed intimo. Abbiamo pranzato per un 50’ di matrimonio con menù scelto. Direi molto buono…l’unica cosa che mi sento di dire è sulla tagliata carne buona ma nulla di che. Qui trovi una carta dei vini abbastanza ampia con prezzi veramente ottimi. Il Titolare Stefano molto gentile (come il personale) è molto preparato sui vini che tratta. Il risotto era spaziale. Consiglio di provare. Dalla fretta ho scordato di fotografare i vini e le altre pietanze.

05/02/2025: Con altri due amici a pranzo in un locale molto bello ed accogliente. Senza tanti fronzoli o stucchevoli manierismi. Abbiamo qpranzato con gusto ed apprezzato un risotto sopra la media. Tagliata perfetta!
23/01/2025: A quick lunch without reservations: very good amouse bouche, decent starter, first course to forget. The dried bigoli looked like a reheated meal, the truffle gnocchi had an unpleasant taste. Generous wine shade. Attentive and precise service, pleasant and comfortable environment. Final cost not adequate for the quality of the meal. I'm sorry because I had heard good things about it. We may have stumbled upon an unhappy chef's day....

01/02/2025: If you come to visit Arquà Petrarca, you can stay in this hotel with professional staff. The struè has a restaurant with excellent cuisine and a selection of wines.
03/01/2025: Day spent in the company of friends and the Il Canzoniere Restaurant satisfied our stomachs. The menu is rich with every type of choice both meat and fish and there are also vegetarian choices on the menu. The dishes are well presented and have excellent flavours, the staff are very courteous and the environment is large and can accommodate large groups. The view of the hills is beautiful and in summer it must also be very nice for having an aperitif outside, given the presence of a beautiful panoramic terrace.
