Excellent saltimbocca and very good calamari fritti. We could have saved ourselves the Crema Catalana, but the espresso was perfect. Thanks to the restaurant staff for hosting us very well at the end of November.

I've been to the restaurant before where it was under different names. At that time I was very disappointed, whether it was about the food or the service. Last Friday I thought I would give the new operators a chance and went out to eat there. Yes, what can I say: I was very surprised and more than satisfied. There is no comparison to the restaurant it was before. Whether it's the food, the service or the general well-being, it's just great there. Two years ago I wouldn't have recommended it, but now I have to. Next year I will visit Sonja and her team again.

Renovated venue (formerly Pippo now Amici Miei). Fresh fish, meat, cold cuts, cheeses from Tuscany, every week off the menu from the chef Gianni (very good!), perfect service, friendly waitresses (especially Sonia) and also the friendly, friendly manager. Offered limoncello etc, generous portions, value for money in the Lignano average, but superior quality compared to others for the freshness of the fish and the super meat (in addition to the desserts). A little away from the bustle of the centre. Nice clean tidy. To return often. Ah OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND!

Walk about 30m further away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping street and you are in a typical Italian restaurant as you would expect. Unless you like the mass processing of tourists, then turn around first. Lots of locals here. The quality of the food is very good and the staff is very concerned about every guest. Complainers should go somewhere else!
