We dined here on our first evening in Venice at the recommendation of a friend who had been there several times. What can I say? The food was fantastic, the pici with lamb ragù was the best ever, as was the vast selection of wines, and the two extremely kind and helpful staff.
A top-notch combo!
100% recommended.

If you arrive in Venice by train, take a few more steps and near the station in a narrow street, you will find Osteria al Cicchetto, here wines by the glass are not an option, but a real gem, the cuisine is sincere, and speaks to you of the city and the lagoon, do not miss the cicchetti, it would be a real shame, among the best in the city.

A small, quality restaurant. The atmosphere is very elegant, typical of a Venetian bacaro. The food is excellent and beautifully presented, the service is very friendly and fast, and the background music is relaxing. A truly pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

A small but welcoming place where you can enjoy typical Venetian dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.
Despite its proximity to the station, the osteria satisfied me in every way. The staff is friendly and helpful, and even though I hadn't booked, they still found me a place.
The dishes are few but carefully prepared and perfect in their simplicity (in the evening, there's a sort of fixed menu, or a minimum number of dishes per person to consider). The saor, the creamed cod, and the bigoli in salsa were excellent: the persimmon pannacotta was a fitting conclusion.
The wine selection, and the expertise of the staff, are impeccable.
Given the simple yet refined, sincere, and welcoming atmosphere, it's definitely a stop not to be missed.
