Initially I would have bet that it was a place for tourists but I had to change my mind. Good products and made in a traditional way. Fair price we had a good time. The climate is certainly not luxurious, however we are in the vulgarity so that's fine

Excellent tavern after the entrance to the ancient Vucciria market. Satisfactory value for money. The owner, as well as the guys, were very friendly and kind. An obligatory stop for those who are in the historic center and want to taste the typical dishes of Palermo cuisine.

"An authentic Sicilian experience!" I had the pleasure of dining with a couple of friends at Osteria Al Casareccio during our visit to Palermo, and I must say it was an amazing experience! The place conveys warmth and welcome, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The menu offers a selection of traditional Sicilian dishes prepared with fresh and genuine ingredients. I tried the Palermitana pasta, the mixed fried dish and the arancina and everything was simply divine. The final almond parfait was also a true masterpiece, with crushed amaretti biscuits and praline almonds. The staff was very kind, always available and ready to recommend the perfect dish based on our tastes. Furthermore, the prices are really competitive, considering the quality of the dishes and the attention to detail. If you are looking for a place to experience true Sicilian cuisine in a warm and authentic environment, Al Casareccio is a must try!

I came away perplexed to say the least. In December, a few days ago, my wife and I went in and asked for a table indoors for obvious reasons, which we were given. Shortly thereafter they throw open the front door, leaving it open. We practically ate in the middle of the street, when we had expressed the desire to stay indoors. Decent food, nothing infamous but nothing exciting.

A place with a strong Palermo feel. More than good cuisine. Even if the first ones were long in coming... the wait was not in vain. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. I highly recommend a stop at this place.
