Nice typical place in Udine, good wine and good canapés

Osteria, you expect a lot of local cuisine behind the stove, in reality the very limited menu consisted of just a few dishes. We ordered two dishes of pasta with pumpkin and sausage, and with radicchio, boiled pork bone, and frico with polenta. The disappointment was to note that all the dishes were already made and therefore only reheated (in fact the dishes were all boiling hot). I think the tavern is worth it only for the variety of wines and their quality, not for the cuisine.

We waited a bit because we didn't book but very kind waiters seated us immediately afterwards and excellent food and wine including the delicious house platter, medium price

Education and smile surprised me. The cicchetti are excellent, the Friulian from Russiz is very good

Beautiful, special place. But 16 euros for two cokes and 4 cuts of the house? He didn't even give us the receipt so I don't know exactly the price but more or less a cut of the house is 2.5 euros?? In a tavern? Are we kidding?

Unusual but very welcoming tavern, fast service, very good food, I recommend pork shank which was excellent, spazels were also very good!

Beautiful historic Udinese osteria in one of the busiest streets in the center. The interior is very particular, furnished with lots of hats hanging from the ceiling, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is very kind and competent, the house wine is excellent (both white and red). The cicchetti prepared by them are also good, tasty and crunchy and excellent value for money. It's the perfect place to have a proper aperitif in great Udinese style!
