A very nice place, well-maintained, friendly, in the center of Udine in a nice area. The service was excellent, the food was good, but not outstanding, just average. We chose it because it's in the Slow Food Guide. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. I'm not sure the dishes are truly Slow Food-esque, even though they were good. However, it's a place I would recommend.

I stayed at this property for two nights and had a great time. The location is excellent, central. My room was cozy, comfortable, colorful, and quite spacious (on the top floor, in the attic) with a private bathroom equipped with everything you need (hairdryer, toiletries, and towels). I appreciated the mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks (water, juice) and the coffee maker. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with mobility issues.

Lasagna and calamari stew with peas: good and reasonably priced.
Paying €12 for four slices of bread with low-quality ingredients, and without first informing the customer that the canapés are expensive... that's not okay. Theft.

A very interesting restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The food is typical Friulian. Excellent service, and they gave us excellent wine recommendations. We opted for the Spanish tapas-style appetizers, but with typical local fillings. It was a pleasant surprise. They even sat us at a table even though we didn't reserve.

The food was good, but we waited over an hour for some plates of cold cuts. There were 15 of us, so it might be difficult to manage the group, but it would be worthwhile to come and tell them about the long service times while you wait.

I stayed for four nights in one of the rooms at Osteria Al Cappello. The environment is very nice and well-kept, the room is comfortable, the staff is young, discreet and very kind.
The structure is located right in the center, in a strategic point from which you can easily reach the places of greatest interest in the city on foot. The environment in which it is located is quiet, so you can rest well.
The room has air conditioning, a mini fridge daily stocked with two bottles of water and one of fruit juice. It is possible to have breakfast in the room with biscuits, jam and a kettle for herbal tea/tea/coffee.
It is also possible to have lunch or dinner at the Osteria: the quality/price ratio is advantageous.
