The host was wonderfully engaged in trying to get us food and drink, which was absolutely top notch. Uncomplicated food made right there in the kitchen using fresh local ingredients. Very popular with local restaurants, who sat talking and eating and drinking wine. We did not feel that we were intruding, but rather welcomed by all. We're going again for a second time this week.

We liked the environment, a very rustic tavern, and we ate well, all typical dishes. The menu does not exist, the dishes are listed verbally. The fridge, the shank and the cjarsons are very good, at really honest prices. In this regard, I must thank the owner who returned to us a sum mistakenly entered in the account.

Osteria al Canarino for the thirtieth anniversary of Friuli Doc on Saturday evening we had dinner in this historic venue which adheres to the taste path of the event. A place that should be seen and enjoyed especially at dinner with refined products: excellent crostini with egg and truffle, scallops as an appetizer, braised donkey and the Cod Vicentina style, Friulian wine from Tenuta Luisa from the town of the great Dino Zoff. Here you can breathe an air of other times dedicated to those who want to combine history with the Friulian tradition of the old historic taverns of the city. The bill will then pleasantly surprise you 💸.

Trovato per caso ma i posti trovati per caso sono i migliori. Un'osteria informale ma dove tutto è bellissimo e buonissimo. Ho gustato tagliolini al San Daniele che consiglio e delle splendide polpette. Per dolce una "s" di pastafrolla da inzuppare in un ottimo verduzzo. Oppure da provare la gubana. Poi Andrea e il suo staff ti fanno sentire a casa, accolto e coccolato. Uno di quei posti da cui ti dispiace andar via tanto sei stato bene. Se avró l'occasione di tornare a Udine sicuramente torneró a cena o anche solo per un bicchiere di vino. Raccomandato!
