An excellent experience. Of substance rather than appearance. Specifying that everything you need is there. Nothing is missing. Good food, good wine and nice people. Pedestrian area. You can't get there by car. Unfortunately for colors which have limitations. “Very central” location in the city centre, at the foot of the castle. The place is suitable for a walk in the city lounge between the splendid Loggia, Duomo and Vittoria squares. Upon entering you have the perception of entering a bar from a few years ago, then you discover other rooms. The environment is informal. Simple . Lots of helpful staff. Fast, dynamic, diligent, helpful, polite, simple and friendly. A well-run-in machine that works well. Never a hitch. The menu is well structured with local and traditional dishes. Simple but not too much. There are long preparation and espresso dishes. Very good raw ham. Very good Casoncelli and strozzapreti. All delicious stews, beef in oil and sliced. All the desserts are good. Good prices, as usual, but above all excellent value for money. It is advisable to book. Seats are limited and the place is well attended. ADVISE.

Excellent both for the location and for the welcome, with very attentive staff delighting us with traditional cuisine and/or aperitifs with attention to the smallest details.

Not like it used to be, especially on weekends with the famous aperitifs that currently leave something to be desired.

Ottimo ristorante a buoni prezzi in cui abbiamo fatto insieme l’aperitivo e il pranzo. Ottimi primi, specialmente i casoncelli, e poi ci sonoantipasti e secondi di vario genere, soprattutto piatti tradizionali. Come dolce abbiamo scelto la sbrisolona. Buoni prezzi e personale cortese e disponibile.

A sober but welcoming environment, located a stone's throw from the Loggia, it offers unsophisticated menus but with excellent raw materials. The service is quick and efficient, the staff professional and kind. Prices are low (locale in the historic centre).

Historic family-run restaurant in the center of Brescia, which has become a meeting place for the people of Brescia and is very crowded, especially on weekends (reservations are highly recommended for both lunch and dinner!). The area in front of the restaurant is not always so quiet (as per the photo attached to the review), but very often groups of people meet here for an aperitif.

A moment in Italy, shared with friends. The dishes are typical and very good. We enjoyed ourselves. We even had dessert🤩 We were advised on wine.

Perfect evening, we ate in this beautiful tavern with excellent typical dishes. My wife had ordered the gnocchi but since the kitchen ran out of sauce she had to fall back on the malfatti. It was a stroke of luck, they were divine and together with my casoncelli they were both tasty and light, despite being cooked in butter. Afterwards we enjoyed a donkey stew for 10 and concluded with a good slice of strudel. Excellent value for money.

Abbiamo mangiato in questo locale in centro a Brescia dopo aver letto le recensioni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Era tutto ottimo :1 porzione di affettati, 1 di casoncelli, 1 zuppa al pomodoro con stracciatella, 2 porzioni di coniglio con zucca e cipolle caramellate e 2 spinaci. Conto sui 40€ a testa . Personale gentilissimo. Obbligatoria la prenotazione perché è sempre pieno.
