Fantastic food! The dessert was also really good. 👍 A reservation is definitely necessary, though, as the restaurant is popular and gets busy.

We had lunch at this characteristic trattoria in the city center. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, the service attentive and friendly, and the price fair.

Brescia was a stopover for us on our way from Genoa to Munich. While still on the road, we used ChatGPT to find out what was worth seeing and doing during a short stopover here, and we received a recommendation to visit the Osteria al Bianchi. Luckily, we were able to get a table outside and met a very friendly and attentive team who gave us good advice. The pasta dishes were delicious, the tartare was very good, and the sbrisolona was a wonderful finish. Our meal was accompanied by the restaurant's own Lugana wine, which we can recommend. An excellent recommendation that we can only endorse!

22/09/2025: Delicious food whose authenticity is evident from the first bite. The rustic setting with an old-world feel is ideal for a break from the norm. Friendly and helpful staff.
12/09/2025: Wonderful regional cuisine - the owners are incredibly kind and hospitable. The restaurant is located on a hill with a beautiful view of Lake Moro - I highly recommend it.

Trattoria Al Caricatore

14/10/2025: I highly recommend the casoncelli al bagoss (cheese filled with baguette)—exceptional. The traditional ones, filled with meat, are delicious. The skewered ones are ordinary... nothing special, just average. What's worth mentioning is the dessert trolley: a waitress approaches the customers and shows them the pastries, and whatever they choose is plated and served. Recommended.
12/10/2025: Brescian skewer is an exquisite dish. Excellently cooked. Very friendly staff.
