The historic trattoria il Bianchi is an olfactory as well as visual pleasure in the historic center of Brescia. It welcomes you in its retro atmosphere with very courteous staff and owners available with quality products. It's a real shame not to go there since 1881. This says it all: the best historic tavern in Brescia. reference point for aperitif and lunch and dinner, in the historic center with the possibility of visiting both the Carmine area and the church of San Giuseppe and other places in the surrounding area with a beautiful, familiar flavour. Adjacent to the Diocesan Museum and Piazza Loggia.

Great food and atmosphere. This is one of the oldest and most authentic restaurants in Brescia. Everything I tried was delicious. I really loved the beef in olive oil and their Casoncelli and other pasta dishes. One dish that really stood out was actually the Lumache (snails) appetizer on a bed of turnip puree sprinkled with shavings of egg yolk - try it and thank me later. Great wine selection, low prices and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Typical Brescia tavern, one of those that still has Italians both in the kitchen and serving, all of them young too. Top snails and casoncelli. Another point of merit for me is that in August it was full of locals who went there specifically for lunch.

Very well known place, symbol of
Brescian aperitif on Saturday morning... Pirlo and fried fish. Excellent combination, strips of Bertagni' (fried cod) 1 euro each that wouldn't even have gone into the ocean with bare hands. However Pirlo was excellent, worth repeating.

A Brescia l'aperitivo del sabato a pranzo è solo quello del Bianchi. Il locale è preso d'assalto e nella via c'è tantissima gente: ormai una vera e propria tradizione.

Un locale, in centro a Brescia, arredato come si deve (tovaglia a scacchi), dal servizio attento e dove domina la cucina tipica bresciana.
Così abbiamo assaggiato un bis con i casoncelli di carne e i malfatti al burro versato, piatti riportati da ogni testo di gastronomia locale, poi il manzo all'olio, anche questo noto ai bresciani e che merita di essere gustato. Piatti ben cucinati, saporiti, che lasciano un buon ricordo, il tutto ad un prezzo corretto, per cui l'osteria è certamente consigliabile.
