When we return to Padua we always stop here. Small but very welcoming place, very friendly staff and excellent cuisine from snacks to dessert!

Piccola osteria caratteristica in centro a Padova. La signora che serve ai tavoli e’ gentilissima e, soprattutto, preparatissima, anche sui vini che servono.
Cibo perfetto, prezzi onesti.
Vino rosso servito, come da me richiesto, leggermente abbattuto alla temperatura indicata.
Ci torneremo presto.

The home cooking is delicious with fresh produce from starters to dessert including aperitifs, wine or grappa, simply brilliant!! The service is top notch with a very friendly duo. An excellent moment in the place and in the dishes. Thank you so much.

In search of Vicenza cod.
On the web I put as a search engine where to eat the best creamed cod... and the Ai Scarponi tavern was among the top 10 of these lists... I tried it and I loved it... I recommend trying their cicchettini which here are called spuncioti strictly accompanied by Spritz.

Ci siamo trovati a Padova per visitare la basilica di Sant' Antonio,ho cercato su Google trattorie dove si mangia bene,grazie alle recensioni siamo stati ai scarponi attratta dalle foto pubblicate e alle recensioni non potevamo scegliere di meglio.Abbiamo prenotato qualche giorno prima poiché il locale e piccolo ,la proprietaria ci ha aiutato a scegliere in base ai nostri gusti dei piatti eccezionali sia cucinati che di freschezza.Poche volte abbiamo mangiato così bene lo consigliamo e se ritorneremo a Padova sarà la prima tappa per gustare gli spunciotti i primi cucinati divinamente e una carne tenerissima per chiudere il pranzo con dei dolci strabilianti,la pazientina e biancomangiare 🥰❤️❤️
