Osteria Ai Do Pozzi - Dae Fie In Venezia

I went on Saturday evening, almost by chance, after a short, pleasant chat with the chef in front of the restaurant. There were two of us, and we sampled various dishes from the menu. The food was truly delicious: carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and quality ingredients that you immediately taste (generous portions). You can tell the kitchen has a lot of attention and expertise. But what made the evening truly special was the extraordinary kindness of the staff and the chef: a warm, sincere welcome, the kind that makes you feel immediately at home. Their attentiveness and smiles made the experience even more enjoyable, almost more so than the food itself... Here you can truly breathe the authentic Venetian air. I'll definitely be back! Five well-deserved stars!

The food at this osteria is truly delicious! A friend sent us here and we found it to be a welcoming place. Alessandro, the chef, and his staff recommended dishes and wines that were perfect for our tastes. The fish was fresh and the meat was excellent! We'll definitely be back!

A secluded and cozy spot near Arsenale, we arrived a little late and they still served us lunch... the waitress and her colleague were very attentive and helpful, the fresh fish was excellent and the typical dessert delicious, the price is in line with the quality offered.

Good restaurant, but the bill was steep. The service was good, but we didn't have the freedom to choose the dishes on the daily menu. The chef came out of the kitchen to tell us which dish to order because you have to reserve in advance to get fried calamari, for example 😅 The dishes were delicious, though, no complaints there. We had a pleasant time, but the bill seemed quite steep for what we ordered: 90 euros for two people for a 25 euro beef fillet, an 18 euro lasagna, a mojito, a 66cl beer, and two meringues. There's a 12% service charge added at the end, so read carefully. There was no receipt; the calculation was done with a calculator without really knowing the prices 🤔 We were disappointed because the experience started off well; we wanted to avoid a tourist trap and go to an authentic restaurant, but we still got ripped off...

Best place to eat in Venice! Radicchio ravioli unlike anywhere else, specially prepared by Alessandro... highly recommended!

Fantastic! I returned to Venice after many years and found this place to be just as authentic and authentic as ever. I was thrilled to see that there's still something authentic in Venice. Thanks especially to the waitress (Caterina, I think) who was super welcoming. The ravioli with mushrooms and taleggio were delicious! The wine, spritz, and local amaro were fantastic. I'm leaving super happy ❤️

First of all, we were a little tired of pizza, so we went to Venice to try some seafood, which our hotel recommended. It was absolutely wonderful. The owner was incredibly energetic, and the food was delicious. The food came out quickly, and if you're craving fried squid or grilled fish, this place is a great choice. Oh, and the menu changes daily, so even if you just nod along to a recommendation instead of showing a picture, it's a success!

A former cicchetteria that has become a truly welcoming and pleasant restaurant. The space and seating are limited, but perhaps that's its strength. The staff is helpful; we were with small children, and they were very attentive and able to adapt everything to make us feel comfortable. The area isn't very touristy, so you can still hear the excellent Venetian dialect spoken. Although small, the place is welcoming, well-maintained, clean, and, above all, well-run by the chef, who is friendly and knows how to deal with customers! The menu is excellent, featuring traditional dishes and meticulously prepared fish. The ravioli are spectacular, delicious. The wine is also excellent, and they recommend it well.

5 stars because if you want authentic Venetian cuisine and uncompromising fresh seafood, this is the place! It's a friendly osteria frequented by Venetians and tourists alike for years. They've been open for 9 years. I pass through Venice every year, and every year I visit them: Manuela, Alessandro, and Alberto!

I highly recommend this place for: the freshest, not frozen, fish; the friendly and professional waiters and chef; and the comfortable atmosphere typical of a Venetian osteria. Prices are average, but given the freshness of the ingredients, they're absolutely competitive. Ultimately, I highly recommend this place and definitely worth a visit... and I'll return as often as I can: an undisputed benchmark for Venetian cuisine.
