A lunch with our mothers in an authentic and charming corner of Venice. 🇮🇹 The typical Venetian atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the excellent food made the day truly special. We felt welcomed like family. Highly recommended.

We were so hopeful after speaking with one of the staff the day before and reading many of the reviews here. Sometimes, there is just a glitch in the universe. Out the gate, the mussels and clams were delicious. We ordered sea bream fish to share. When it was delivered, it looked great with a couple of slabs of grilled polenta. When we went to cut the fish, it was hard and other than in the thickest part, dry and overcooked. So bad, we did not want to eat it. When we told the staff, they were immediately defensive and basically said we didn't know what we were talking about. We went from disappointed to unhappy. Skipped dessert and moved on. As on the other negative posts, I am sure the owner will berate us as about not knowing anything about cooking. We do know a lot about eating, especially fish, and it was clearly an off night.

A good Venetian trattoria, offering excellent seafood and traditional fish-based recipes. Away from the city's more touristy spots.

Thanks to Chef Alexander, he's so welcoming and friendly. We had an incredibly delicious dinner. He made a dish not on the menu for our daughter, explained the specialties of Venetian cuisine, and simply created a wonderful atmosphere for the meal. I highly recommend him!

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of returning to Osteria Ai Do Pozzi, bringing along the entire architecture firm I work for. Since we were a large group, I arranged directly with Ale a month in advance with a set menu per person. The food was fantastic and plentiful, leaving us all with big smiles and full bellies. The atmosphere is super pleasant both inside and out. Ale, although he may seem grumpy at first, is actually welcoming and knows his way around the kitchen from north to south. Thanks again, and see you next time.

A great discovery! Authentic, very welcoming restaurateurs who also speak French ;) Quality local products and a welcome that stands out from other more touristy places. We particularly appreciated the presence of the chef and his team who were able to advise us and who are concerned about pleasing their customers. Grazie mille!!

A lovely evening at Ai do Pozzi. The excellent second course in Saor, the gnocchi alla Marinara, the Umbrina, and, last but not least, the unique and inimitable glasswort. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming. Recommended for everyone, even those with children who can run free in the outdoor square in the summer. What else, just perfect. A special mention to Carolina, who so kindly accompanied us throughout the evening.

Éramos un grupo de 21: el «banquete» final para un grupo universitario estadounidense que estudiaba en el extranjero. ¡No puedo empezar a decirte lo increíble que fue esta experiencia/comida! El gerente/propietario se ocupaba de las decisiones del menú e insistía (como debía) en conocer los números (carne vs. pescado). Además de las entradas, prepararon un plato de pasta (diferente para las selecciones de pescado y carne), un maravilloso tiramisú y un montón de verduras / ensaladas (así como patatas fritas: siempre un gran éxito con los estudiantes) . Los precios eran increíblemente razonables y la comida, MARAVILLOSA (y abundante: nadie se fue con hambre) . Igualmente importante, los servidores eran comprensivos, profesionales y amigables (no es fácil con un grupo tan grande, pero manejaban nuestro grupo fácilmente). Si me pidieras que encontrara un defecto en algo, NO PODRÍA. (Nota: también comí allí otra vez con un colega y fue igualmente impresionante). Fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena el par de minutos adicionales para llegar (Arsenale vaporetto parada es mejor) . GRACIAS POR UNA FORMA FANTÁSTICA DE CERRAR NUESTRA AVENTURA. ¡Un grupo de estudiantes recordará esta noche mágica por el resto de sus vidas!

04/11/2025: Very nice place, I personally had a problem with the dishes we ordered. The burgers were cooked on the outside but cold inside, raw meat. I pointed this out and they brought the remade dishes back to me... we regretted the gesture.

11/09/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Jesolo Lido, part of the prestigious "Casa Bianca al Mare" Hotel. A truly charming location, on the seafront promenade, with outdoor tables and carefully positioned lighting to create a truly special atmosphere. And now let's begin with the more or less sour notes. First of all, when we arrived (first of all, we're not two kids, and even if we were, I can't be greeted in a place of this caliber by the bartender with a simple "Hello." No way. Let's start with the table we were assigned. Outside, very good: but it was a table for six/eight people. And there were two of us: so it was objectively too big. A more intimate table would have been appreciated. But that's a detail. There were many doubts about the food. Not that it was bad, no... However... The octopus appetizer. Good. The spaghetti alla scapece: absolutely nothing special. Without a strong flavor, objectively modest, and the spaghetti was even slightly overcooked. Mixed fried fish (they never brought us any oil or salt). Aside from the portion, which I would call embarrassing (I know full well that in high-end places, portions aren't large, and rightly so, but too small isn't good either): there was very little variety of fish, and the taste was the same. Of dozens and dozens of mixed fried foods that I can find all over Italy. The most enjoyable thing was the dessert: a chocolate composition with coconut and passion fruit inside, if I remember correctly. So, in short: if you want to spend a few hours with your wife/partner in a truly remarkable location, it's fine. If you want to satisfy your palate, then no. But overall, for a special evening, I recommend it. The quality/price ratio is insufficient considering the food preparation, but it's absolutely adequate for the setting.
