The octopus is the best. It comes from a region of Japan that has great seafood, but everything is well-balanced, including the dessert, and I'm very satisfied.

A quiet restaurant by the canal. We enjoyed a peaceful dinner until the waiter brought us the bill after our main course, without asking if we wanted dessert or another course. A few minutes later, he asked us to leave, even though the restaurant already had four tables available for another seating. We didn't even get to enjoy our meal and left rather disappointed. The food was good, and we could have stayed longer. We didn't understand.

A "historic" place founded 20 years ago by three partners with different experiences in dining, cooking, and gondolier. Small, simply but tastefully furnished. Short but substantial menu. Decent wine list with fair markups. Table settings: Paper placemat and thick paper napkins, bottled water (I would have preferred a carafe). We ordered two first courses, more than decent portions with excellent quality and execution. Tagliolini al nero (black ink tagliolini) with plenty of scallops, bigoli (bigoli) with a tasty white ragù. To finish, biscuits with vin santo (sweet wine), and pastry biscuits. They welcomed us even without a reservation, asking us to vacate the table by 9 pm. The first courses arrived in a flash, and everything went smoothly. We'll definitely return. Be warned: they have a table at the entrance and three seats in a row on stools, which get a bit chilly from the doorway.

Exquisite place and food. We had two pasta dishes (one bigoli with mussels, clams, and fish, and the other with ragu—both delicious—and the fried fish was spectacular). We went with small children and were treated very well. We will definitely return if we come back. And the price… excellent for the quality!

Excellent restaurant, in a quiet neighborhood by the canal, away from the hustle and bustle. We had a wonderful evening; the food, desserts, and wine were all of very high quality. Fresh ingredients, pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service. Don't hesitate!
