03/08/2025: Good food, set menu for lunch, we tried the zingara as a first course, then the steak with potatoes and peas for the second course, which was truly excellent.
The only flaw is that even though we asked how it worked, we weren't told we could choose just one course for €15 instead of €20. I also think the table setting outside could be avoided in advance because pigeons were crawling on the cutlery and glasses. They can be set up as needed, I think. Other than that, a good experience.
31/07/2025: If you were lucky enough to have grandmothers or mothers who were good at cooking, you'll feel right at home here, but with a significant bonus: being in Venice, in Canaregio, on the canal after the three-arched bridge.
Heavy dishes, with generous sauces, good, well-prepared meat, and even better when there's fish. No desserts, but good, piping hot coffee.
Fast and friendly service.
A sea breeze will cool your summer lunches, and the sunset will make everything more picturesque.
Important detail: it's run entirely by a Venetian family.
