Yesterday I had lunch at Ristorante Rondò and I absolutely have to share my positive experience! The menu is extensive and offers countless options for all tastes, vegan and otherwise. We tried a little bit of everything, and I can say with certainty that it was all very, very good. Everything was carefully prepared and flavorful. But what made the difference, beyond the food, was the staff. They were truly helpful, kind, and always smiling. They recommended fantastic dishes and were attentive to every need, creating a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a restaurant in Sarzana where you can eat well (vegan or otherwise), with excellent value and impeccable service, Ristorante Rondò is the perfect choice.

We had lunch here, tempted by the high review scores. I'll start by saying that the rating should be based on the structure and the price. That is, if you're a trattoria with affordable prices, you have to leave several aspects aside. If you show up with a menu with dishes costing no less than €16 for a first course and €17-20 for a second course, you have to be impeccable. We wanted to try three different first courses: spaghetti with pesto, which arrived in very thin spaghetti form and barely warm, but above all with a pesto that tasted of nothing, not basil, not pine nuts, not even garlic. Having found a piece of almond, I explicitly asked the owner, who admitted that their pesto contained almonds, walnuts, and tree nuts, as well as a few pine nuts, and that according to them, that was the recipe for Ligurian pesto. The dish "spaghetti alla chitarra with fresh local anchovies and Civita di Cascia roveja (a Slow Food Presidium)" was an inedible mess of thin, mushy pasta, no more than 3 cm long, with completely unrelated and tasteless ingredients. On the other hand, the chestnut flour tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were extremely salty, and despite being hungry, we had to send them both back. They correctly charged us only for one dish, but I go to restaurants to eat well, not to avoid paying for inedible food. Cost: €3

Excellent restaurant with several vegan and gluten-free options, which are truly appreciated. The staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. They have an outdoor terrace and outdoor seating on a quaint street. I really enjoyed it!

We stopped at this delightful restaurant in the center of Sarzana again during another visit, thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the owner! A wide selection of excellent gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, delicious to eat and beautiful to look at! The waiter was also always friendly! If you're coming to Sarzana, it's worth a stop! 😋

Excellent restaurant! Attentive service, quality produce, refined dishes. We went with an 18-month-old baby. There are high chairs for mealtimes and even little books. Perfect and intimate.

What can I say? A style of preparation where you can taste the choice of top-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable, and the chef is extremely knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone.

Excellent cuisine, a wide selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes, with an interesting mix of tradition and innovation. Some exceptional classic dishes, such as stuffed lettuce in broth and stuffed rabbit, are also on offer. The rabbit liver terrine is a standout. Sublime. Excellent and balanced wine list.
