We ate yesterday at this tavern and I must say that we were very impressed. Very kind waiters, quick and friendly service and typical traditional Matera dishes done very well. It is not located in the tourist area, in fact the customers were mostly people from the area. As mentioned above, very positive experience. Advised

Found by chance based on the reviews and I must say that it was worth it. Excellent food, excellent service. I recommend the paccheri on caciocavallo fondue. I will return in the next stop

Positive: The food tasted great and I was seriously impressed. Food came quickly. In the end, the price was also good for German standards. Negative: You can still work on the ambience with the many bright LEDs and the stability of the 4-seater tables is also too low for cutting the pizza. A red wine at room temperature (30 degrees?) is a bit warm.

07/01/2025: Small and welcoming place, staff, friendly and kind! The starters were good, the meatballs were the only thing we didn't like as they were cold and the sauce was frozen! The starters were tasty!
07/11/2024: The old negative reviews were from the old management.... now it's a completely different thing Giuseppe the owner pampers you and makes you feel at home!
