My husband and I had dinner in this osteria on January 2, 2025, the beginning dinner of our short holiday in Lecce. We enjoyed the muersi, the prawns wrapped in bacon on chickpea cream and the ravioli filled with scallops and prawns, sautéed with prawns, butter and lumpfish roe. To conclude the dessert: hazelnut and pistachio spumoncino. Everything was delicious, including wine, a Calafuria rosé. I forgot the bitter Oronzo! Very kind, friendly and very professional staff. Cost: €99.50. It was worth it!

Gourmet restaurant with selected cuisine. Fantastic firsts. Chef CarboNera's special: spaghetti alla guitar with bacon and black garlic. Super good. The other first courses we tasted also had great attention to detail. Good wine choice with equally good choices of digestives and desserts. Excellent organization and fast and punctual service. Waiters always informed about the dish served and also about the wine list.

Exelent restaurant. I recomend this place for diner or tapas. The white wine verdeho taste super. Angus, lamb, tuna and tagiatele very, very good.

Very average food that costs more than average. The ravioli was good but the rest was not. The Orecchiette was very tasteless, during three trips to Puglia this was the worst one I’ve had. The street where this restaurant is not nice either.

11/09/2024: It's not possible to put more stars, damn.... We have been holidaying in Salento for 7 years and Mr. Jameson is a must... it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise! The place that started out with a very "Irish pub" style with wood everywhere (which I absolutely loved), after the pandemic underwent renovations that lightened and refreshed its appearance. The food, however, has remained the same... excellent, plentiful and refined. They offer typical dishes from Salento but with that extra note that makes them excel over every other restaurant. The service is impeccable, with an elegant simplicity that is the envy of the most beautiful tables.... well, if you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for? MOVE!!!! Everyone at "Jameson"!!!

Osteria Della Divina Provvidenza

02/02/2025: It was a wonderful discovery. The location is very beautiful, characterized by star vaults and stone walls, also tastefully furnished. The cuisine is superb, everything we ate was of excellent quality and sublimely prepared. The tagliolini with tuna steak... deserve praise. The service is also good, the staff are courteous and efficient, as well as friendly.
26/01/2025: Magical place, enchanting atmosphere Menu with flavor combinations that satisfies every need It's not cheap but the value for money is excellent
