An excellent restaurant in a panoramic position on the Tuscan hills near Poggibonsi. Prices are certainly not cheap but for Tuscany they are average. The village is also very interesting ... also for the wild boars that were looking for roots and that roamed in large numbers in the surrounding area. Anyway, worth coming back....

Beautiful property with a very limited menu. I enjoyed my Bistecca Fiorentina. Our waitress was courteous and attentive.

I must start by saying that the lunch menu is quite limited but the raw materials are exceptional and the prices (don't be fooled: they are not that exaggerated) are unfortunately worth the experience: that of eating in a lost village frozen in time with a spectacular view on the Tuscan hills. Impeccable service and a truly pleasant lunch in the small square of the village

Osteria 1126 is a true culinary jewel, located in an enchanting location. The staff is friendly and attentive to guests' needs.
The quality of the dishes is extraordinary. Typical traditional flavors with an innovative touch. Among the recommended dishes, the cod hunting style and the lamb are absolutely worth trying, both exceptional and well presented.
In summary, Osteria 1126 is the ideal place for those seeking a high-quality gastronomic experience in a charming setting.

Beautiful Tuscan restaurant, good surroundings. Excellent service and well prepared Tuscan food. Very good self-made wines, as well as oil (can be purchased at the restaurant).

A cozy location with amazing staff.
Seriously impressed with how professional they were. You would almost think you were at a Michelin star.
The food was good but we felt it was trying to add a french cuisine take to Italian food, which was a pity because it didn't make the dishes better. They looked amazing though.
If you like that you will love it. For us we missed the simple amazing flavors the Italian cuisine provides and made them really have like sometimes in french cuisine.

Random discovery after an online search, upon arrival a real wonder awaits us. An ancient village (1126 in the name of the restaurant is the year of recognition of the village), still alive with widespread hospitality, agricultural production of extra virgin olive oil and wine (excellent), wine bar, swimming pools and obviously a restaurant.
Courteous and professional service, impeccable cuisine oriented towards simplicity and the quality of raw materials. An extraordinary Sunday, absolutely worth trying.

We happened upon this splendid village between Florence and Siena by chance and stopped to sleep one night, a well-kept place, a super-powerful pool, super-friendly staff and a top-notch tavern.
We will definitely be back and next time we will stay for more days.
Well done to the chef Sara and the blonde lady in the dining room who was super nice and helpful.
All the women at work, well done to the women!!!!
