Spectacular place, especially on a clear north wind day. Rustic interiors as you expect, genuine and informal service. Very tasty food. The only flaw is that the bill is a little high for the type of restaurant (over €50 per person).

Very nice place, but not for the rest.. dishes not up to expectations.. for example pansotti with walnut sauce, overcooked and without salt.. maybe it only happened to us and only that evening.. but I don't like it it made a good impression given that the bill (unlike the pansotti) was quite salty..

We were customers of the old management, after many years we decided to return, what can I say!! everything was delicious, excellent quality products, right quantities, friendly staff, the place is always lovely. See you soon

Was there for both lunch and dinner. Yes confirms the excellent and quality food. The service is unobtrusive, friendly and prepared to explain some dishes that I didn't know. The environment is fabulous, surrounded by greenery, tranquility and clean air

Appena possibile fuggo dal caos delle riviere e prenoto in questa semplice ma per me molto rilassante 'Ostaia' dove aldilà della vista trovo un menù vario e di qualità. Anche poche sere fa ho ordinato i taglierini al tuccu , fantastici! I miei amici hanno ordinato gnocchi al sugo di baccalà con tanto di scarpetta ! Insomma dalla cucina al servizio dico bravi ! Non vedo l'ora di tornare.

Location fresca e immersa nel verde sulle alture di Voltri. Cibo e servizio ottimo. Prezzi non economici ma in linea con la qualità delle materie prime. Trofie al pesto con fagiolini e patate come da tradizione genovese veramente ottime,per non parlare dei gnocchi alla curcuma con cozze e vongole a dir poco eccezionali! Rostbeaf con patate al forno buonissimo e per concludere un tiramisù di rara bontà. Ci tornerò a cena con amici viste le ottime premesse..

31/12/2024: Genoese cuisine at its best! I have no words to express the extreme kindness with which our requests were accommodated even though the place was full for New Year's Eve dinner and we hadn't booked! Excellent dishes and courtesy. Chestnut gnocchi with pesto lifts your spirits with every forkful! I will definitely return! Very very good!
15/12/2024: The restaurant is on street level behind the ancient market in the Carmine area. The environment is welcoming and informal. The food is decent, the price is average for trattorias, the staff are friendly and helpful, no problem with accessories for disabled people, the only problem is parking. In front of the restaurant you cannot access even by taxi, parking in the surrounding areas is impossible to find, during the day you can get there on foot from Piazza della Annunziata but at night it is not advisable to walk around the area on foot, like the whole historic center of Genoa unfortunately.

19/01/2025: After so many years, even since I lived as a child in Via dei Giustiniani, I have longed for the chance to eat in this restaurant and I finally succeeded. Excellent inn, welcoming atmosphere, good dishes and service. We all had a first course, a dessert, some water and wine, spending €26 each, more than appropriate. I in particular had some excellent black and white gnocchi with artichokes and octopus if I'm not mistaken, all accompanied by a good bottle of Vermentino. In short, I regret not having tried it before, but it will be one of my first references to bring people who come to Genoa to visit me.
