Beautiful location in a very characteristic area of Genoa. Fresh fish, but the pairings aren't always successful. Excellent wine selection, with friendly (but not predictable) staff.

We celebrated our wedding here in July 2005. We return every now and then, always on anniversaries. The management has changed over the years, but the place remains enchanting. The cuisine is interesting, as is the wine selection. The staff is courteous. A very pleasant place.

Bella osteria, siamo stati all’aperto, dove la cornice è semplice e gradevole. Primo piatto buono (spaghetti alla chitarra con pesce) e ottimo gelato artigianale. Servizio gentile.
Da aggiustare forse un po’ l’aspetto estetico anche se a Genova un po’ di trascuratezza ha il suo fascino e ci sta tutta

locale nel centro storico di Genova, presenta una terrazza molto carina e suggestiva.
Personale molto attento e disponibile, porzioni leggere, unica critica riguarda il menù, la scelta è limitata perchè ci sono pochi piatti e magari chi ha intolleranze come me fatica a scegliere. In generale un posto carino, adatto in estate.

Excellent dinner! Quality, refined...this is where you can eat local, typical cuisine in Genoa on a pleasant terrace...elsewhere, it would be considered gourmet or Michelin-starred...
The staff was very helpful, ready to explain with kindness.

Simply lovely. The restaurant is in the heart of the city, very close to luxurious Via Garibaldi and Piazza Fontane Marose.
The place is warm and beautiful and has a nice terrace that is used during the summer and offers a nice view over the historical streets.
I was impressed by the professionalism of the waiter who brilliantly explained the menu in Italian and English.
With regards to the menu, you can choose either from the standard menu or from fresh daily choices which were mostly based on fish. I went for the daily plates and it was truly excellent. The recipes come from the typical local ligurian kitchen, mostly from Genoa of course).
I really loved it and strongly suggest giving it a try.
