Very nice place, with a beautiful view of the valley and the town of Poggio Mirteto. Menu that changes every week, but with more than enough choice. All good, prices normal.

Fantastic place. I was there on Sunday. We ate in the open air in absolute tranquility away from the chaos of the city... delicious and tasty unique dishes... all very good. We will be back soon. 10 stars to the cook.

Il miglior pranzo del 2024 finora? Fatto oggi all’Ortobio di Poggio Mirteto. Fuori la veranda in cui ci si siede c’è un prato ben curato poi un burrone e dall’altra parte Poggio Mirteto, disteso sulla collina come un vecchio addormentato. In tavola un antipasto fisso decisamente gourmet poi crespelle con zucchine e salsa allo zafferano poi maialino cotto a fuoco lento con cicoria e poi cremoso al pistacchio. Notevole il calice di rosso della casa. Bonus per la gentilezza del personale per i prezzi e per la serenità che ispira il luogo.

Ottimo cibo nonostante fosse Pasqua, l'attesa lunga tra una portata e l'altra e il menù fisso. Ottimo rapporto anche qualità/prezzo. Personale veramente molto gentile.

We spent a beautiful Easter Monday day. The food was of an excellent standard, we really appreciated the quality, the innovation in pairing the foods and the presentation of the dishes. The owner is very kind and available to "tell" you about the menu and his idea of ​​quality. Compliments to the chef!!

They told me about this restaurant and it is truly a delightful, welcoming, comfortable place with a view of nature and exquisite, refined food. Great restaurant dishes with research into high quality raw materials. Thanks to Cinzia's mastery in the kitchen and Alessandro's hospitality as an excellent host. We had the Saturday evening experience: super positive. Dinner with a crackling fireplace which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. Always delicious food and super tasty new 'experiences' to try. The plating is also beautiful. Mr. Alessandro also gives excellent advice for wine to pair with food. The conclusion of the evening? Mrs. Cinzia's delicious and special desserts!

13/08/2024: Recommended by locals, a pleasant surprise. Excellent first course with a strong flavour, Sabine style fregnacce, with homemade pasta. Homemade tart. Cristina who served us was very friendly, always available and attentive. Excellent quality/price ratio. Compliments to the kitchen. Open only for lunch. We will certainly return to visit Rieti and its surroundings further

Family condition of commendable sympathy and spirit. Very honest prices and very high quality! The coffee with the mocha made by Silvia is special.

15/08/2024: Stopped for lunch after a motorcycle ride inspired by the many positive reviews. Absolutely agree with the reviews, kind and friendly staff, well-kept, clean and very nice place, excellent food both in quality and quantity and the owner is an exceptional and kind-hearted person.
