Room which is accessed through a lovely, well-kept garden.
The room inside is made up of two rooms, one of which is decidedly insufficiently heated.
Dishes not up to the standard of Tuscan tradition, tasteless and unimaginative.
Quality/price ratio superior to local standards.
I apologize, perhaps the cold has made my opinion more edgy than I would have liked.

Best meal we’ve had in Italy so far!
All of the restaurants in Magliano were booked up so our hotel booked us in at Orto219 and I’m so happy they did!
We ordered the pici with pumpkin and guincale - so delicious and unlike anything we’ve had in Italy so far, and, based on our servers recommendation, the tortelli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, topped with ragu. Wow! ’m so glad he suggested this, it was fantastic!
We also had the lamb and Cinghale cacciatore and a side of potatoes and a half litre of the house wine. Both dishes were perfect! We definitely ordered too much so we happily took what we couldn’t finish to go but if this were my last meal on Earth, that would be fine with me.
Have a meal here and consider yourself lucky! Thank you for an outstanding experience!

What can I say... it has now become an obligatory stop on our holidays in Tuscany. I have been several times and each time it is as if it were the first in the sense that the dishes always surprise me with how sublimely cooked and well balanced they are. The tomato soup is excellent, not to mention the wild boar stew accompanied by unforgettable baked potatoes. Federico and his wife are very kind and helpful people (by the way, I thank the lady for the cake: it was delicious 😋). In summer it is a real pleasure to dine on the lawn, a pleasure for all the senses. In short, a highly recommended place that never disappoints.

Average restaurant, very good meat, but unfortunately too many shortcomings in the menu that affect the choice, 5 things asked for 2 3 were finished and the rest we were told after ordering that it was finished, too bad, location still nice

E’ un bel posto nella campagna maremmana, si cena all’aperto, il cibo è locale e di qualità. Il proprietario Federico è un toscano simpatico e salace. Menu assortito e giustamente imperniato sulle specialità del posto, buona cantina, servizio cordiale, prezzo onesto e adeguato al buon livello complessivo del servizio. Andateci tranquillamente e con fiducia.

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante per caso, cercando dei ristoranti che offrissero la possibilità di degustare piatti anche vegetariani. Siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Il locale è davvero suggestivo immerso nella natura e le materie prime davvero ottime. Durante la cena sono stati ordinari anche piatti a base di carne che il mio compagno ha gradito. Consigliato quindi sia ai vegetariani sia ai non!
Tutto il personale è stato gentile e accogliente!
