Ortensia Ristobar In Bolsena

Lovely little trattoria right on the shore, beautiful views over lake Bolsena. The food and atmosphere were great. We had two courses with wine and beer for €30 each. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

What a lovely atmosphere! Friendly staff, delicious food. Finally something other than pizza! As a happy, full vegetarian, I'll definitely be back on my next vacation...

Passing by to see the lake, we stopped for dinner, and even though everything was booked, they were kind enough to find a place to set up a table for two. In addition to the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, and the beauty of the place with its lake view, we found excellent food. Many compliments!

Well, I might be biased, but this is one of my favorite places. First of all, the location. The peace and tranquil view take away all your stress. Beneath the centuries-old trees, there are manicured gardens and hydrangeas always in bloom. Then there's another flower, the Hydrangea Ristobar. The welcome is magnificent and informal. The cuisine, both local and freshwater, is superb, with reasonable prices and generous smiles. A special mention goes to the pasta with wild boar and truffle... it's simply amazing. I returned after seven years and found it even better. Well done. Thank you!

Ortensia Ristobar in Bolsena is a true pearl overlooking the lake. The location is simply perfect: just a few steps and you find yourself with your feet in the water, enjoying a breathtaking view in a relaxing atmosphere. It is the ideal place for a break during a walk or for an aperitif at sunset. The place is well-kept and welcoming, with impeccable service. The employees are always smiling, helpful and kind, creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. The aperitifs are delicious, rich and well presented, perfect to enjoy with a good drink in company. The arrosticini are a real surprise: tasty, tender and cooked to perfection, ideal to accompany an informal but quality evening. The quality-price ratio is truly surprising. In such a suggestive location you would expect much higher prices, instead everything is accessible and honest. This makes Ortensia Ristobar a must-see for both tourists and those who live in the area. We will definitely be back and we recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy something good in front of one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy, in a simple but well-kept environment where you always feel welcome.
