I've tried takeout pizza a few times in the last few months. I really liked the dough and the ingredients too, the only downside is the tomato which, compared to many other pizzerias, I find a little too acidic.

Oggi pranzo domenicale in questo ristorante in centro Tradate. Ottimo antipasto con gnocco fritto e prosciutto crudo dolcissimo, ottimi anche i risotti e la frittura di pesce. Buono il vino della casa e prezzi nella norma. Personale gentilissimo e servizio veloce. Ritorneremo.

L'insegna all'esterno è affascinante, magari anche perche' coniugata con la prima nebbia stagionale. L'interno non è molto ampio, ma risulta ugualmente accogliente. Il problema è il rumore: siccome il locale è affollato, va sempre a finire che occorre urlare per farsi capire, ancor piu' se al tavolo siamo in sette. Qui il focal point è la pizza. Che è eccellente, con abbinamenti intriganti. Non ci siamo fatti sfuggire proprio quella che porta il nome del locale, "Oro Rosso", ovvero pomodoro, mozzarella, porcini trifolati, scaglie di piacentinu ennese (con zafferano e pepe nero). Chi volesse altro rispetto alla pizza, puo' scegliere fra alcune proposte non particolarmente originali. Buoni i dolci, peccato la mancanza di una possibilita' di vino per dessert a calice. Servizio un po' lento, le portate sono arrivate un po' troppo scaglionate fra loro.

Pleasant discovery. Very nice place, very kind staff, fast and attentive service, excellent starters, very good first courses and equally tasty second courses. We didn't try the pizza but we will definitely return. More than adequate account. The only two flaws perhaps, but which are certainly not worth one star less, are that there is little choice on the menu, but nevertheless they are special dishes. The porcini risotto itself is good except that the mushrooms didn't give the right touch to the risotto. For the rest I would say everything was perfect.
