Historic place furnished as it once was, all in wood with director's chairs and checked tablecloths. There is no table service, everyone writes their order on a piece of paper and delivers it to the counter. When the order is ready you are notified via loudspeaker. The service is also self-service for drinks. We didn't know it, but we chose it because they also have gluten-free flat bread. Both the flatbread and the toppings are good (both in the normal and gluten-free versions), but the price is exorbitant - you pay over €10 for a small slice.

Locale storico arredato come una volta, tutto in legno con le sedie da regista e le tovaglie a quadri. Non c'è servizio al tavolo, ognuno scrive la propria ordinazione su un foglietto e la si consegna al bancone. Quando la comanda è pronta si è avvertiti tramite altoparlante. Anche per le bibite il servizio è self service. Non lo conoscevamo, ma lo abbiamo scelto perché dispongono di schiacciatine anche senza glutine. Sia la schiacciata che i condimenti sono buoni (sia in versione normale che senza glutine), ma il prezzo è esoso si paga oltre 10€ per uno spicchio piccolo di focaccia.

Stunning place, backbone of the fort, my family and I have been going there for a lifetime, wonderful staff like the owner and the food is excellent, highly recommended!!!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo sempre frequentato da tantissimi anni questo posto, cibo fantastico, personale fantastico compreso il titolare, ormai é una colonna portante del forte dei marmi, consigliatissimo!!!

16/05/2025: The food was excellent . I was surprised being in located in a lovely square that is enjoyed by tourists The Barrata was creamy & fresh . The ravioli with ricotta with shaved truffle so subtle in flavour . We also enjoyed a very good pizza I would highly recommend a visit

16/04/2025: I haven't been fishing there for two years, even though I live less than 4 km away... I've always gone to the big lake with the Carp fishing technique, and I've always had fun, the last time two years ago with a nice 13 kg carp. which made me win the morning race. For the rest, a greater will is needed to carry out interventions to rearrange the large lake, especially the banks and fishing spots which are quite ruined. I don't know if they are still open...
