The food was great! However, the price was too high for Calabria. The QR menu system needs improvement. If the dishes were assigned numbers, there wouldn't be any confusion. And to be honest, I hate these electronic menus. I much prefer having a physical menu in my hand; it's much more informative, in my opinion.

Fixed menu with no explanation of what I was eating... No explanation of the dishes! I ate like a god... but I still have to understand why I arrived at 12:45 and left at 4:00... I wasn't part of the ceremony... I was in a bit of a hurry... but I complied... in any case, the service was really not very smart with foreign customers... I would have explained the dishes.

An elegant venue with an intimate atmosphere created by the soft lighting and the pleasant outdoor space where we dined. The staff is friendly and attentive, always present but never intrusive, which contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. The menu is varied and well-designed, with seafood and meat dishes, as well as vegetarian options. Each dish is carefully crafted with attention to detail and flavor. Of all the dishes, I highly recommend trying the Sibari rice with truffle. A restaurant that manages to combine quality, atmosphere, and courtesy: I will definitely be back.

While passing through Castrovillari, we had a great experience at Origini. The cuisine was meticulously prepared, with excellent, well-presented dishes using local ingredients. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. The quality/price ratio was excellent.

On our way back from vacation, we stopped for lunch at this Calabrian restaurant by chance. Excellent, distinctive, and homemade food, a clean atmosphere, and fast service. They make special artichokes in oil and delicious desserts!

Everything was delicious, especially the fish-based first courses. I highly recommend the fusilli with creamed zucchini and raw shrimp. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

04/12/2025: What can I say? Excellent location. I stayed there one night, the room was spotless and felt like being in a grand hotel. I will gladly return next time and recommend it to anyone passing through Scalea.

14/02/2026: A family-run restaurant that welcomes you warmly and always offers a small fritter while you wait for your order. Very low prices, but high-quality products. Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...
19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯 Cristiano
