I had the pleasure of dining in a restaurant in San Nicola Arcella, Calabria, and I must say that it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. From tuna to swordfish, every dish was impeccably cooked. The fish was very fresh, cooked to perfection and accompanied by flavors that enhanced its goodness without ever covering it. The tuna was tender and juicy, with a light crust that made it crunchy on the outside, while the swordfish had a delicate texture and melted in your mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavor that made me fully appreciate the qualities of the fish from this region. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming, with attentive and friendly service that makes you immediately feel at home. If you are a fish lover and you are in the area, you cannot miss stopping here: truly exceptional quality and flavours!

It was recommended to me by a cousin of mine from Potenza who travels a lot. We went to dinner yesterday, August 23, 2024. Large public car park in front. Great ease of entry for those who unfortunately are disabled. Surprising atmosphere: the owner Mr. Nicola is exuberant but communicative and transmits a passion for food and music (the one he makes you listen to is pleasant and comes out from within in a non-intrusive way; but the surprise is when Mr. Nicola goes to the piano which is inside and plays with refinement and passion. Furthermore, the son, a very attentive and friendly young man, knows how to communicate passion. In summary, which is not my talent: we had a great time, we ate very well, but my 4 stars and not 5 are only because I would have liked to spend a little less (€72 for an excellent starter for two, for a sumptuous portion of the best spaghetti with squid sauce ever eaten, a nice portion of sea bream and an excellent dessert, excellent rosé wine served in a bucket with ice and limoncello) but the prices have increased everywhere and the night before we had spent the same amount for the same quantity of dishes, in another place where I would not return). So maybe I should have given the rating 5 stars. I would say to Mr. Nicola, his son and the staff (attentive, kind and, above all, smiling): thank you from Enrico and Françoise, Well done, keep going like this and we will always come back!

Very nice and welcoming restaurant, the owner Mr Nicola was truly a perfect host, he also enlivened the evening with the piano. The staff is very kind and helpful and the food is really good and of good quality. We ate a very special and excellent seafood starter, perfect and abundant fried fish and I recommend the tuna with Tropea onion and cherry tomatoes!! We will definitely be back to enjoy the homemade desserts too! Excellent value for money, recommended.

Ci sono stato qualche giorno fa con amici per cena. Parto subito con l’unico elemento negativo. È sospeso il servizio pizzeria, e questo potrebbe essere un problema per chi ha bambini. Consiglio di togliere la scritta pizzeria dall’insegna. Abbiamo preso un antipasto composto da quattro assaggi, un primo spaghetto cin i totani e una frittura di pesce come secondo. Ottima la qualità della materia prima e buoni i sapori. Buono anche il servizio. Ci ritorneremo. Consigliato

Mi spiace ma non ho cenato bene. Peccato, Nicolino è affabile e racconta la sua storia come un anfitrione. Un ristorante pieno di storie con personaggi famosi e meno ma stavolta non sono uscito soddisfatto. Al di lá del conto (50 a persona) e del menù fissato in precedenza (che non apprezzo mai), gli antipasti giá preparati erano comuni, i due primi, serviti nello stesso piatto, sembravano identici (fatene uno bianco ed uno rosato), la frittura non so darne una valutazione. Insomma, a Nicola darei 5 stelle, al resto 2. Fate voi la media.
