Good food and wine experience a stone's throw from Castel Sant'Angelo. Attentive and courteous service, dishes of Apulian origin with names borrowed from the memes of the great Lino Banfi (like Porca Puttèna orecchiette). The starters are good, the Apulian focaccia is excellent.
Good quality Primitivo wine.

Puglia exports to the capital. The great Lino confirms himself every time as an ambassador of the Apulian tradition. Of course, some good wines and some products from the province of Foggia would be worth a sixth star, but they can be forgiven. Highly recommended

I was in Rome for work and I was in the area what better opportunity...
Tradition said orecchiette with turnip tops but I was in Rome and the appeal of bucatino all'amatriciana was very strong, so the right compromise: delicious orecchiette all'amatriciana. The burrata with capocollo is also very good.
The staff is always very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Informal place with many references to the actor who gives it its name. Varied and original menu, excellent starters as well as the orecchiette, not to mention the desserts. Trained and very kind staff. The only flaw is the place which I found unwelcoming.

You can enjoy authentic Apulian products made with great professionalism. Close to Piazza Cavour, three hundred meters from the Court of Cassation. Via Gioacchino Belli, last cross street of via Cicerone, on the left.

We visited Orecchietteria Banfi two years ago and couldn’t wait to return—and it was just as amazing as we remembered! The orecchiette with pesto is a must-try: perfectly cooked and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors.
The service was outstanding, with a special shoutout to the kind and helpful waiter with glasses, who made our experience even better.
Don’t leave without trying the tiramisu—it’s the perfect sweet finish! Highly recommend this gem for incredible food and exceptional service.
