A spectacular location, completely unexpected compared to the exterior of the venue, located in a less distinguished area. Make the most of the opportunity to take photos in the beautiful outdoor area.

I'm only giving it an average rating, because when we arrived at the venue around 7:00 p.m., we had to wait fifteen minutes to be told it was full, so remember to book, otherwise the setting seems pleasant to me.

A restaurant/pizzeria with a small ancient theater used as a backdrop, creating a unique, different atmosphere. The interior spaces are meticulously designed, and you can dine outside in peace. The exhibition room is also beautiful, enhanced by plant elements that add a touch of elegance and verdant elegance. The pizza is good, perhaps not the absolute best in Taranto, but certainly high-quality. The real strength is the attention to those with special dietary needs: celiacs and lactose intolerant guests can enjoy their meal in a separate, dedicated kitchen.

Delicious gluten-free pizza. Uncontaminated fries. For those who can't eat gluten, it's practically a dream. Even the pizzas with regular dough are beautiful and delicious. Pictured is the Baroni pizza with gluten-free dough.

Lovely place, truly excellent food. We ordered two puccias, one with gluten-free dough, and I must say we were both satisfied with the quality and taste. For one puccia, a change was requested that required removing the provolone and adding stracciatella. While the provolone was correctly removed, the second was left out. We reported the issue at checkout and received a discount. For those in the business, these things happen; the important thing is to somehow fix it, and they did just that. Price was in line with the quality of the products served. Five stars overall, well deserved.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent gluten-free pizza in a welcoming and refined environment. This was my experience at Open Theatre in Talsano (TA). An open-air restaurant where time seems to slow down, leaving room for the magic of the moment. The atmosphere was evocative, enveloped in nostalgic lights that created a dreamlike setting, perfect for savoring every single moment. I can't wait to return.

Fabio and Vanessa, the owners, are friends to me, people with a unique kindness and professionalism. For me, Saturdays at their place are a ritual that's been repeated for years and that always leaves me amazed. 01/09/2025: ✨ A Hidden Gem – Café Marilu ✨ We happened to pass by the sweetest lady, Marilu, who runs her own little place with both a gelateria and top-quality espresso. We were immediately drawn in by the amazing aroma and taste. The espresso is absolutely perfect – just as it should be in Italy – and the gelato… well, it was so good that we simply had to get another. Everything is homemade from scratch, and you can truly taste the quality. The quality is outstanding, the prices are very fair, and you can feel the love and passion Marilu puts into her place and the dolce. Marilu runs the café herself together with her two daughters, and her warmth and charm make the experience even more special. For the gelato, we especially recommend the pistachio, almond, and tiramisu – but honestly, every flavor is soft, creamy, and full of taste. We’re from Copenhagen and are deeply impressed by the incredibly high quality. If you have the time and opportunity, stop by, say hello to Marilu – you won’t regret it! Who knows, maybe next year she’ll even have a pistachio farm – and if so, we’ll definitely be back to taste even more. 🌿🍨☕
21/08/2025: I travel a lot for work. Bar Mincuccio is an excellent ice cream shop, and their panettone and colomba cakes are also delicious. Their strength lies in the natural, high-quality ingredients they use.
