The beef in sour soup is a big portion, but the taste may be average. The chicken in picture 4 is quite delicious, but it will be salty if you eat too much. The rest were good and the spiciness was acceptable. The price is also right.

Sichuan cuisine dishes prepared (and presented) in an excellent manner: undoubtedly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Rome.
Very nice place and friendly and helpful staff.

One Restaurant is a true jewel for lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine: specifically that of the Sichuan region.
Recommended by the wife of a friend, originally from China and in Italy for a few years, I decided to try it and I was thrilled!!!!!
To start, we ordered the “Husband and Wife” (夫妻肺片) appetizer, a traditional dish of thin slices of marinated beef, served with red oil made of chili oil and Sichuan pepper powder. The meat was tender and the spicy-balsamic flavor offered a pleasant explosion of flavors on the palate!!
We continued with the sautéed cauliflower with crispy beef, a very tasty dish that perfectly combined the crunchiness of the vegetables with the flavor of the meat.
Next, the Kung Pao shrimp balls, accompanied by peanuts and mushrooms, proved to be a delight; probably my favorite dish of the evening!!!
The beef main course with cardoncelli and black pepper was equally excellent, with the meat cooked to perfection and the mushrooms adding an earthy note to the dish.
To go with it, we chose some sautéed tofu, which proved to be a light and flavorful choice.
The portions were generous, ensuring excellent value for money.
The place is small, well-kept and welcoming, with a simple and contemporary design that recalls a style that is more Northern European than Chinese. Although I would have appreciated a more traditional atmosphere, the warm welcome and attention of the staff more than made up for this small shortcoming.
In particular, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the members, a young man originally from Sichuan, who shared with us his passion for the cuisine of his homeland.
One Restaurant has become my go-to place in Rome for authentic Chinese cuisine.
Highly recommended!!!!!

Like many, I discovered this place by chance on Tuscolana, which caught my attention because there were only Asians at the tables, which is a sign of quality for me.
I must say that its strong point is that it is NOT the classic Chinese restaurant.
The culinary offering focuses on traditional dishes from the Sichuan region and I must say that those are the real highlights (for example, the more classic ravioli didn't particularly excite me).
You have to have courage to try some dishes based on duck blood or similar, but it is certainly a reason to return.
The overall experience is really worth it.
The costs are higher than the classic Chinese restaurant but, given the offer and quality of the food, they are justified.
I found the menu a bit confusing, which didn't help me choose and navigate the rich offering.
Best dish among those tried was the “wife and husband” beef!

The spicy chicken and golden sand tofu I ate last night had a faint smell. The rest of the non-fried dishes are fine and delicious. The chicken and tofu can be eaten and the ingredients themselves have not deteriorated. There should be a problem with the oil. Please ask the store to check the quality of the dishes from time to time.

Small but well-kept place in the Tuscolana area. Few seats and very interesting menu that tells the history and culinary culture of the Sichuan region with an eye to innovation. Aesthetically refined and very balanced dishes. Perfect cooking and well-studied combinations. I tried an excellent salad of aubergines and pepper cream, excellent cooking of the aubergines and balanced spiciness between the various ingredients of the dish. Very tasty caramelized ribs, I feared a dominant sweetness but instead I was struck by the taste, so much so that I started eating one after the other without stopping. Ravioli in spicy broth are good, but of all the dishes I liked the least. Fresh tofu with truly excellent meat. Spicy at the right point and very pleasant textures on the palate. A bowl of white rice is the perfect complement to accompany all dishes. Truly a great discovery. Too bad you really have to choose dessert to close the meal. I will be back soon to try other dishes. Medium-low price in proportion to the quality and quantity of the dishes offered.
