Landed up at this restaurant on a whim while visiting Bologna for a couple of hours. It was a strange experience trying to find the restaurant as the entrance is locked and covered in random stickers. We were buzzed in and offered a seat immediately. Unfortunately it was a hot evening and the air conditioning in the restaurant did not work well so it was a bit stifling. However the service was with a smile and the dishes we ordered were tasty.

Very impressed with this place. Service was awesome. Nice tagletteli with ragu but the standout dish was the tortellini with parmesan sauce - “food for the gods” as described by my fellow diner. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with excellent food and drink options. You can find traditional Bolognese dishes with contemporary twists. Excellent pasta dishes.

A lovely experience and tasting menu. Some of the decor of the restaurant are deliberately quirky but come across as slightly odd. The food is great, but arguably for a tasting menu some of the portions are too large, particularly in the traditional menu which did make enjoying the latter courses slightly tricky. It is a pleasantly quiet in what appears quite a busy environment. Great little bars nearby which feel very local for a drink pre/post meal.

Heritage tasting menu (EUR 65):
1. Horse tartare, egg, Parmigiano Reggiano - Good.
2. Wellington meatloaf (made of veal, prosciutto and mortadella), tomato and onion cream, Hollandaise sauce - Not bad.
3. Tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano cream - Good.
4. Tagliatelle ragu Bolognese - Good.
5. Fried veal knot, raw ham, Parmigiano Reggiano - The veal cutlet was a bit soggy and salty.
6. Berry sorbet pre-dessert - Fine.
7. Fiordilatte pudding - Fine.
Landa cocktail (Gin washed, Jasmine tea cordial, Lychee infused vermouth, Clarified lime) (EUR 12) - Not enough gin in it though the flavour was good.

Fantastic experience in this place that revisits classic Bolognese cuisine in a modern way.
The horse tartare and tagliatelle with meat sauce are excellent.
Fast and precise service, very beautiful location.

We went to this restaurant without reservation this evening.
Actually we were going to dine at other restaurant, but we changed our mind.
I am so glad.
The food, service and ambiance were all top notch.
We had horse meat tatar, spaghetti with shrimp as a starter, and pigeon and venison for the main course.
Every dish was really good.
I had sparkling wine ( they didn't call prosecco) which was good, and my husband had house red wine which was so excellent.
The beautiful sweet lady who might be a owner was very nice and kind.
I highly recommend this this restaurant to anyone who is tired of regular tourist restaurant.

We had a wonderful dinner at Oltre. We each had a different tasting menu. I liked most of the vegetarian courses and husband thoroughly enjoyed his Oltre menu. We were well attended and served. We did the tool boxes for the utensils very strange. The art work is definitely modern “biker”. We were much older than most of the others but was not unusual for us.
