I used to come to this place often a few years ago. The service used to be slow, but the price was fair, the portions were generous, and the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service has remained slow and the prices have gone up. I'm giving it 3 stars because, in any case, the various aspects still seem to be balanced. Perhaps, however, with all the other places around Ovindoli, I'm no longer sure whether it's worth making the trip down to Santa Jona.

The ambiance is simple yet refined. Excellent food and above-average portions. Friendly service. The vegetarian lasagna is a must, still made according to the old-fashioned methods, rich and flavorful. But everything else is superb.

Unfortunately, I have to give a very poor rating, especially for the service. We arrived at opening time (12:30) and the bathrooms were dirty (one out of two was working). In my opinion, when a restaurant opens, you can't find the bathrooms in that condition. In addition to this, the service was terrible. We ordered starters, two samples of first courses and two mixed roasts, the latter of which arrived after 2pm. I don't like rushing things for people who are working, but I don't want to receive rude responses from the restaurant owner. I don't think I'll go back again!

06/06/2025: Una vera sorpresa, abbiamo mangiato bene e prodotti locali. Lo consiglio a tutti sia la qualità che il prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente.
24/02/2025: Conoscevamo già il ristorante e per la prima volta abbiamo soggiornato. Ottima struttura, camere recenti ed accoglienti, ottima pulizia e disponibilità della proprietaria. Colazione abbondante e gustosa. I proprietari ci hanno messo a nostro agio e per due mattine ci hanno preparato la colazione anche prima dell'orario previsto. Gentilissimi. CI vuole una mezz'ora per raggiungere gli impianti di risalita ma considerando il prezzo e il trattamento va più che bene.
