The ambiance is simple yet refined. Excellent food and above-average portions. Friendly service. The vegetarian lasagna is a must, still made according to the old-fashioned methods, rich and flavorful. But everything else is superb.

Unfortunately, I have to give a very poor rating, especially for the service. We arrived at opening time (12:30) and the bathrooms were dirty (one out of two was working). In my opinion, when a restaurant opens, you can't find the bathrooms in that condition. In addition to this, the service was terrible. We ordered starters, two samples of first courses and two mixed roasts, the latter of which arrived after 2pm. I don't like rushing things for people who are working, but I don't want to receive rude responses from the restaurant owner. I don't think I'll go back again!

Location surrounded by greenery with a view of Piana del Fucino. Open-plan home cooking with grilled meat prepared on the spot. Today I had an appetizer with seasoned raw ham and seasoned and also fresh cheeses, homemade fettuccine with lamb sauce, brontosaurus steak and a side dish of potatoes. Staff led by Simone as always at the top for courtesy and availability. Talking about price with a full belly is always a pleasure. Definitely average and with an excellent quality/price ratio. We have already been there at least 100 times and will return many more times. A guarantee!

The quality of the meats 🥩 are simply EXCELLENT !!! 💯
A sober, clean place but definitely dignified in its simplicity...the owner welcomed us as if we were family.
The wisdom consolidated by years of activity was highlighted in the cooking of the meats which are partly from his own breeding and the rest in any case from the immediate vicinity...

A pleasant discovery in this small town in Abruzzo. Regarding the slow service that I often read in reviews, I couldn't say. We were served rather quickly (there were few people that day) and the service was good. Average prices and really excellent and plentiful dishes!! Everything perfect I would say, nothing to say.

We returned to this place a few years later and had a very good time. The grilled meat is excellent, especially the lamb. We highly recommend it. Excellent service and very friendly owner. The value for money is excellent. We will definitely be back.
