Olivarium In Sestu

14/01/2026: A really excellent meal of Fresh Paccheri Pasta alla Carbonara and a truly sublime Potato, mint and pecorino culurgiones with butter, sage and porcini mushroom powder. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. Very cool 18th century former carriage room, with a limestone back wall that screams history.

11/01/2026: My husband and I stopped for a quick break on a cold day, but unfortunately we received a less than friendly welcome. The waitress (according to our order, her name was Barbara), after explicitly telling us to sit down, cleared the only available table. Once seated, we noticed the table was still dirty with sugar and politely asked for it to be cleaned. The waitress responded rudely, claiming we had sat down while the table was still occupied, even though she had invited us to do so. The table was then cleaned with obvious annoyance, spilling the sugar on my husband's pants. It's a shame, because with a little courtesy and attention, the experience could have been completely different.
